In accordance with Russia's call for an international force to combat the Boxers, and in the interest of upholding peace, the Austria-Hungarian Empire hereby pledges to commit a force of 300 Marines and three cruisers to join all those who would see justice carried out against the barbarous Boxers. Our own problems at home forbid us from committing a larger force, but we hope our forces prove useful in this most righteous endeavor for peace and justice for all. Our forces are to join up with the international force and assist in any way they can, though our focus will be largely defensive, with the protection and evacuation of those persecuted by the Boxers as our primary objective.
