I actually felt compelled to call it battojutsu, which is hypothesized to be an even earlier name for Iaijutsu. Though, I just stuck with Iaijutsu, since that hypothesis has not been proven, per se.

I was also thinking about using the sword from a seated position, which, if I am not wrong, is possible but not the most effective way of doing things. Still, if there ends up being a duel, one could catch their opponent off of their guard by still being seated and fighting, even making themselves able to do some sort of jumping or dashing attacks for surprise. 

I just think it looks cool.
