The Kingdom of the Netherlands hereby assumes sovereignty and all economic and political rights over the territory of Portuguese Timor and the southern portion of the territory of Portuguese East Africa; the Kingdom of Portugal is to be reimbursed for the transfer of these territories with a sum of £3,100 paid to the Kingdom of Portugal from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
