It sorely grieves me that Europe, the bastion of the Old War, could not set a better example to the rest of the world. Even in our attempt to create a Pax Europa, the Treaty of Constantinople was undermined by lack of representation and the secretive nation of several articles. My only advice to our New World brethren is: allow representation of all nations who wish to partake and by no means have any hidden (or semi-hidden) articles that are unknown to the rest of the Americas. We, as those in Europe, can only hope that the damage done due to the War of the Eighth Coalition, will not be permanent. -King Charles XV, the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway --- The Franco-Scandinavian Friendly Relations Treaty
Article I The Franco-Scandinavian Friendly Relations Treaty calls upon the nations of the Scandinavian Commonwealth and the French Empire to abstain from declaring hostilities against one another.
