I'm sorry to jump into this, but mentally ill or not, Grant includes the other characters into his own idea of being the leader. At the same time he does so at a time where people will have little to no choice to say no, because they are all going the same place and have the same objective. In my opinion it is pushing it too far to order them to do things and refer to them as "my team" in advance, but I suppose that is only my opinion. I would take Chev's advice and alter your post to a point of not "forcing" people to follow you. At this point we want to keep this plot going and continue to the next part and arguments between characters won't help with that.
