Combat spells = Dark Magic (Fireball, Ice shard, Lightning bolt, Wind Blast, incinerate, Curse Etc,,) Defensive, healing, general spells = Light Magic (Illuminate, Shield, Buffs, duplicate Etc..) If you plan on using magic yet aren't a mage I would suggest having a "magical item" like a ring or pendant that you would store your magical power in. Resting restores mana, as well as potions and magical places such as special fountains, shrines and churches.
