Mmm. Very true. Though, most of our characters already have a background in these sort of things.
That could be why I just don't think a counselor would be necessary.
Now, for characters with no background in this field I could totally understand but from what I read in most of our character's short bio they have some form of history in this job.

Not saying it doesn't make sense, it totally does, but I just don't know how useful the character would be.
I'd feel bad because they wouldn't be able to get in on anything. Lol.
Or they could be like 'Mom' from the movie Holes.... I love that movie. xD
