May as well add Evarado to this sinking ship, see if I can't give it a kiss of life. I'll be spearheading the defence of El Presido with the remnants of the Mexican army, if the GM will let me. He is known as a ruthless individual, putting down rebels with an iron fist. He has been brought to northern Mexico to help bolster the existing military, as it fights against Reyes' Rebels. Although, upon arriving with his soldiers, he soon realised that the civil war had taken a rather dark turn. He first came across the town of Chuparosa, to find the inhabitants fighting each other in a chaotic melee. His soldiers promptly restored order, slaughtering any that put up a fight against them - but not before they witnessed the cannibalistic mannerisms of those they were suppressing. No sooner had Evarado restored the peace, than a swarm of enraged civilians stormed into the town. He saw first hand his men being pulled from their saddles by blood soaked fingers, and they screamed as jaws snapped down on their flesh. Realising he was facing some kind of wide scale revolt, he ordered a retreat, taking off for El Presido. Along his way, he gathered shattered groups of the Mexican Army, and it was from them that he gained knowledge of the situation: the dead were rising, and killing the living. When it came to self preservation, Evarado excelled, and he immediately abandoned the civilians of Nuevo ParaĆso to their fate. Arriving at El Presido, he found that the fort had been overrun. A bloody battle ensued, but eventually, the Mexican Army was victorious. He ordered the gates blockaded, and posted his men on the walls. Though out in the wilderness, he could hear them, the dead, shambling towards his fort. He didn't know if he and his men had enough bullets, but he wasn't one for giving himself up. With grim resolve, the shattered remnants of the Mexican Army prepared for their final stand.
