To prevent derogating from the peace talks currently ongoing between China and the European powers, the Netherlands and the Qing Empire shall remain at peace. Japan, however, has rebuffed Dutch and Prussian attempts at peace talks, and in doing so has cemented herself as an enemy state of all peace-loving nations, the Kingdom of the Netherlands foremost among them. [b]The Kingdom of the Netherlands hereby issues a declaration of war against the Empire of Japan[/b], in the interest of ending the war in eastern Russia and allowing the region of the Orient to prosper alongside European involvement in the near future.
