Knox’s eyes were serious as he asked the question, but Millie giggled it away. “Well, if you’d rather not get signals...” She said, leadingly. She lifted her hand from his arm with a pout, picking up her drink and taking a sip again. She smiled at him, teasingly, over her glass, her eyelashes fluttering. Millie knew exactly how to deal with men, having been raised around them and predominantly by them. Millie saw movement out of the corner of her eye and spotted Angel get up from her table. As her friend looked around, she caught her eye and winked. Millie gave the slightest smile back, but frowned slightly when Angel started walking towards them. Knox had been talking to her earlier, if Angel came over acting like she knew Millie, he would be onto her straight away.
