Noticing the tears beginning to form over Emi's cheeks, Kenji grinned in false sympathy. "Oh, what's wrong Miss Emi? Don't tell me you're scared by big bad Kenji now? You...you gotta be joking right? Ahahaha, oh man that's just too great!" Twirling his knives between his fingers, the demon swung in a wide arc toward the now charging ghost girl. When he made contact with nothing but air, the demon predicted the next move and casually back-stepped to propel his body away from Emi's angled blade. "Whoa kid, that was pretty good! Trying to read my movements like that...but you got two things wrong when it comes to technique!" A crackle of electricity rumbled in Kenji's palm and he dashed forward at incredible speed towards the other demon. In no time, he towered right above her and brought his sparking hand, which held a spinning butterfly knife, down towards her. The velocity combined with the motion of the knife gave it the appearance and power of a crackling buzz-saw. "See, in real combat, you won't have time for silly little games like this! Before you know it, the enemy will have gutted your pretty head open in the time it takes for you to analyze their moves. Don't think, just fight Emi! Otherwise, you fail to protect your precious Tetsuya!" In the midst of his strike, Kenji suddenly paused halfway and drew his attack back, leaping away and shrugging indifferently. An innocent smile plastered his coy expression and the aura so full of malice dropped from his figure as well, if only for a moment. "I mean, wow, if you can't even survive long enough to protect my man Tetsuya, then boy do you just suck! Seriously, what kind of girlfriend is weaker than her lover? Oh? Did I strike a nerve there? Sorry, but it's kinda hard for me to stop whe-oh, but wait. Ain't that all the truth? Sorry sweety, I just call it as I see it. Wanna prove me wrong Miss Sad Excuse for a Lover?"
