Name: Wendy Lavelle Human or zombie or tree?: human Background: Wendy has lived her whole life in the suburbs of Washington, DC. With America's capital just an hour's drive from her doorstep, she's been able to visit it rather easily for anything-the Smithsonian museums, spending a night out with friends (though there's plenty to do where she lives), going there for the various expos/showcases held every year, etc. She was married to Daniel Lavelle and had two kids; Victor and Albert. Victor is ten years old, Albert is six. Before the tree zombies started to infect more people, Wendy was a stay-at-home mom, her husband worked in the IT department of an insurance company. She was content with her life, as they had more than enough money to go around and she had a healthy relationship with both her two kids and her husband. However, once the tree zombies started popping up...that all changed. Her husband disappeared one day after he went to work. That's all that Wendy knows, though she suspects he was either infected or killed. Her younger child, Albert, was killed in a stampede to get away from a horde of tree zombies, leaving her with Victor to fend for themselves. Wendy picked up how to use a gun pretty quickly, and she has taught Victor a few basic techniques to defend himself, after being out on the streets and constantly moving for almost a year now, as their house was destroyed. Now, they wander through Washington DC (what's left of it, anyway), taking things step by step, day by day. Because in this new world, Wendy can only strive for one thing: to survive.
