Miles walked across campus heading to his fist class. He was the typical small town kid placed into a big city. He looked in awe at the buildings and all the people around. Where he grew up, he was ten miles from the closest neighbor and thirty miles from the closest store. He was so excited to be able to learn everything he could. He was an animal person, so it was his dream to be able to help animals for a living. He readjusted his book bag as he strode towards the medical building. There were tons of people walking to and fro and he tried his best to find somewhere to walk that wasn't overrun by people. He didn't want to be late so he stepped off the sidewalk to go around the throng of students that seemed to just be stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. He stepped into the the grass and brushed past a bush when his foot hit something. He looked down and saw two text books. He picked them up and looked around. Trying to see who they belonged too. as he glanced around he saw a girl kneeling a few feet away picking up other books. He scooped up the books and walked over to the girl. Her back was to him and he knelt down beside her and held the books out. "Are these yours?" He asked her. She looked up at him, her face seemed a little sad. "Karah?' Miles exclaimed. She looked at him confused and stood up. Miles handed her the books and smiled. "You probably don't remember me. We sat next to each other during orientation." He looked down a bit embarrassed. "I have a good memory." He really remembered her because he had a thing for tattoos. He didn't know why, but women with tattoos were the most attractive to him. The fact that she was already pretty didn't hurt either. "So, uh. Are you alright? Do you need me to walk you to class?" Miles grinned sheepishly.
