Alex Clark - Haywood - Riler/Audrey/Jessalyn The pregnant woman soon pleaded to him to let her in peace, and the man infront of him, clearly the doctor, promptly ignored his outstretched gun, walked past him into the room with the woman, and started doing his job. He felt absolutely miserable. These people could impossibly be bandits. These were just peaceful survivors like them. People trying to band together to make it out here. Or actually, ... He pondered, feeling his guts turn sour, not like them. They had raided them, attacked them, based on only the words of Tyler. Based on the fact that he said these were bandits. He had so easily swayed everyone to come with him and outright murder everyone in this place, making them into the real bandits, monsters. He felt at fault as a human being, and strangely as a student too. His professors had always pushed them to source check, to not believe unless you can check the source, but he had blindly believed Tyler just so he could earn his place back with the scouts. It sickened him how easily he conformed with a group just for his own personal comfort. He glanced at the rifle in his sweaty hands, and saw his fingerprints showing on the wet metal. The fingerprints of a murderer? No. Not if he could do something about it. For a brief moment he felt the need to return to the Outpost and try to spread the truth about this place, but then he realized that that'd be a bad idea. Despite the council the person in lead of the scouts held all the firepower in his hands. The people of Haywood all too easily followed a single charismatic leader who dared take the initiative, something that should've been more evident to him after withnessing Reggie. Scary images of the Outpost turning into a murdering band of crazed people flashed through his head, and with a metallic thud the rifle crashed into the floor. He opened the door, showing both his hands, still pale, sweating and shaking, but with a sort of resolve now. At least he had a plan now. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
