James kept walking with his flashlight in hand, trying to find the source of the noise. It was undoubtedly getting louder as they moved forward. Every once in a while, James would take a quick glance at Bonnie to see if she’d found anything. The hill was covered in trees and the grass was tall enough to conceal any small animals, though it was doubtful that whatever was making this noise was small. If only he knew [i]what[/i] he was looking for. After a couple of minutes, James began to stop walking and tilted his head. “Hear that?” he asked Bonnie. He swore he could’ve heard a faint slithering noise that a snake or a creature of that sort would make. As he scanned the ground with his flashlight, he grabbed his gun, keeping it pointed down. "Think we're close."
