Nothing wrong with that, waiting for a good dinner is a lot better than getting a poor one, wouldn't you agree?

As for the sphere... Well, assuming the synthetics are entirely robotic and don't possess the equivalent of a nervous system which could be manipulated by the parasite, then fighting through trillions of synthetics to get to 100 billion humans hardly seems like good value for money, does it? I suppose there could be some tasty knowledge in the heads of those humans...

Whatever happened to good service, where the organics would be in the majority...
