Name: Mithias Varomere

Species: vamp

Bio: Mithias was born in Whales in 1298. He was surrendered to an orphanage and raised with other boys for knighthood. The Templars were declining and were a mere two decades away from the inquisition. Mithias had been a witch hunter, a vampire hunter, at such a time. It was an esoteric sect of the knighthood, but all that was so long ago. He was killed and turned by an extremely powerful vampire that he had been after for some time. The chase had been futile, as there was no way any single human could have stood a chance, but the vampire had seen something he liked in Mithias. 

Initially, the fledgling ranted and raved and swore vengeance, but time dulled his rage. His every attempt to find and contend with his maker ended in failure. He gave up. He started killing other vampires for a while, but then, spent 100 years hanging on the wall of an underground cave. You can guess who put him there. It's now been 300 years since Mithias has had any evidence that his maker even still exists. Perhaps the ancient fiend found some way to kill himself. 

Mithias believes he is now on his own. He generally tries to aid humans against the forces of the supernatural, but he no longer actively hunts his own kind. He is curious about them. Mithias is interested in what keeps a being going on and on with life century after century. He is not even certain why he himself still lingers on. 

Personality: Quiet, disciplined, fatalistic, boringly consistent. Mithias looks at the world in contrast to the void, searching for the meaning of existence. He finds solace in nature and loves to travel long distances.

Other: Mithias spent an impossible amount of time honing his mental defenses, due to his maker having had extremely good mind control. He can't be mentally or emotionally manipulated. He sees through illusions, and he can shut out telepathy if he wishes. His strength is decent, but he is not a powerhouse. It is his speed that is excellent. He has actually parried a bullet out of the air.
