Alex Clark - Haywood - Jessalyn/Riley/Audrey What was he stupid. Ofcourse they didn't want his help. They were raiding the place like bandits, and now he expected them to let him help a pregnant woman? He walked outside the room with the woman again, and saw his gun on the floor. He picked it up, and realized that he could hardly stand guard here. If anyone, be it a local or someone from the Outpost would see him, he'd be screwed. The locals'd probably shoot him at sight or shoot him after realizing he 'imprisoned' that pregnant woman, while anyone from the Outpost would wonder why he was guarding a random door and go inside. On the other hand, could he really leave this pregnant woman unprotected? The man had looked sturdy enough to help, but he was needed as a doctor. He couldn't leave these people alone. Footsteps drove his mind into overdrive, and he gave a silent knock to the door as a warning to be quiet. His teammember had come looking for him, wondering why Alex hadn't shown up on the other side of the building as planned. Damn him, thought, as his mind raced to an explanation why he was standing awkwardly infront of this door. "Hey, what's going on?" The guy asked, his rifle pointing at the ground as soon as he recognized Alex. Ofcours he noticed something was wrong. He was pale, shivering and obviously shocked. How could he get out of thsi situation without getting these people caught? "Alex? Everything allright?" The man asked with a growing suspicion. Flashing through his mind were several possible actions, but he didn't like either of them. He couldn't go on killing this guy, he didn't even remember his name, just to protect these people, right? "Alex...?" "T-T-There's... crawlers inside..." He muttered, stumbling over the simple words, and sought some support against the wall. "T-they didn't notice me... B-but it's ... it's a pregnant walker and ..." He continued, praying his words would convince the man not to look inside. His already upset body was easily swayed into faking nausea, and at a certain moment he doubted wether or not he was faking it. The other guy, winced sympathetically, and looked meaningfully at the door. "Shouldn't we like ... kill them? You know? Put them to rest... I mean, if it's a ... a pregnant crawler..." The guy then hesitantly asked, causing panick to pump Alex' mind into overdrive again. "N-no way! There's too many inside, and we don't know if there's m-more around!" He replied, and then, as he saw how he was convincing the other man, decided to take a bet. "No fucking way that this is a group of bandits man, no fucking way... It's obvious t-this community was breached, and those are fresh fucking crawlers in there... A pregnant fucking crawler man! These could never have been bandits!" He said with desperation in his voice, upon which the other man grabbed his mouth and nodded. "I... I don't know man... I ... I'll go check the other building..." He said, obviously being gripped by nausea aswell. Once the other guy had left the building Alex let out a loud sigh, thanking whatever was up there for a God that the people inside had been quiet enough to let his bluff work. But now what. He still couldn't keep standing around in here, or could he? Trying to think of a solution he paced around the hallway, and quickly grew frustrated with the situation. How had he gotten himself in amess like this? How had he not seen what Thomas was doing, leading them here to raid these innocent people. Why did he let himself be so goddamn blind? Suddenly however the door behind him opened, startling him to death.
