NEW ENTRANTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME: All information about the RP will be compiled in here in easy to read form for your convenience. We've just started so there are no scenario synopses but I have created a list of all characters at the bottom if you'd like to get to know the cast better. Outline "We have everything you need. Food, shelter, water, people... A society. You can live in a community free from the infected. A safe haven where you can feel comfortable, knowing that you're surrounded with friends. What is there for you out there? You live in a land overtaken by abominations and murderers, thieves and rapists. Your instincts are likely telling you that this is too good to be true. Under normal circumstances, you could hardly be blamed for heeding that frightened little voice inside your head. After all, it's kept you alive for this long. All I can say is that we need you as much as you need us. We can't rebuild America without your help and that's why this signal goes out to all of you survivors struggling 24/7 just so that you can take another breath. Is venturing into downtown Chicago risky? Of course it is. But what else are you going to do? Are you going to continue running, simply to exist? Or are you going to take hold of the only opportunity that will allow you to live again? America begins anew at the Black Mountain, the tallest building in Chicago. In better times, it was known as the Sears Tower. Find us there and we'll make sure you never suffer again. What other choice do you have?" Set a full year after the outbreak of a flesh-eating virus, this RP takes place in Chicago and its surrounding areas. The population of America has been decimated and only a few survivors remain. The odds are seemingly insurmountable as survivors must deal with hordes of the infected and, worst of all, other survivors who have gone mad in a world with no order. --- Your decisions will shape the world around you. Will you submit to survival of the fittest, or will you help your fellow survivors to find safety? Will you join a community or will you form your own gang of raiders? The choices are limitless. This RP begins in the month of August, 2016. (No special knowledge of TWD is required as this is set in a completely separate area to the canon. Just remember that the virus is airborne, everyone is infected but the virus itself does not cause illness/death unless you are bitten by a walker) Rules 1. This should be common knowledge by now but no godmodding. Strict action will be taken against modders. 2. No power playing unless you have the consent of the other RP'er. 3. Fights between characters should have the outcome decided beforehand. If you can't decide, message me. 4. Avoid the trope of the 'badass, don't take shit from authority' character. If you have a good reason, fine, but if a group of raiders are holding guns to your head, don't goad them into shooting you unless you actually want your character to die. Be realistic. 5. If your character is injured, stick to it until it heals. If they break their arm, it's advisable for you to not have them boxing with zombies. 6. You will turn within 24 hours if you are bitten but not if you are scratched. 7. If you are bit on a limb and manage to amputate it within 10 minutes of being bit, you will not be infected. 8. The zombies are walkers, they do not run. 9. You may curse liberally. 10. Sex is best left implied. Smut is allowed up to a degree but be sensible about it! 11. Your character cannot be present in more than one scenario at a time. 12. If you want to make the most of this RP, please be dedicated. I can guarantee that the posting speed will not be slow. If you can't commit time to the RP, we can accommodate you but it'll often be at the expense of your character being ignored as post-locking is something we want to avoid. Scenarios Scenarios are how we deal with the limitations of not having an entire forum dedicated to this RP. Within our one thread will exist multiple scenarios that will run at the same time. For example: Scenario 1: Zombie attack in Naperville Scenario 2: Zombie attack... somewhere else in Naperville Scenario 3: One group heading towards downtown Chicago Once you enter a scenario, simply preface your posts with #x, with x representing the number of the scenario. This will prevent confusion and allow several plot lines to play at once. This negates the problem with many RPs where everyone is participating in one scenario and the plot cannot move forward because of character saturation. Not to mention, it's simply banal when everyone is in the same place at the same time. You may create a scenario any time you want. IMPORTANT NOTE: The creator of the scenario reserves the right to shut off his/her scenario to new entrants if he/she feels that the scenario is becoming too cluttered. Before entering a scenario, please check the first post of said scenario to see if you can join. Characters Threedawg's characters
Age: 26 Height: 5'11" Weight: 170 lbs Appearance: Before the apocalypse, Levi was a well-built, clean-shaven man who was obsessed with his appearance. With the end of the world, survival became his primary focus. With the increasing scarcity of sustenance, Levi's once healthy face has given way to a gaunt mask with hollow cheeks and a bony jawline. His five o'clock shadow and short, scruffy black hair lend to a dishevelled looking appearance. His eyes are a light shade of brown. His clothing often varies, depending on what he can scavenge, but he always wears a dirty, olive-coloured trench coat that is replete with pockets. History: In his life before the outbreak, Levi resided with his family in Naperville. Born to wealthy parents, he lived a life of ease until his own desire to establish independence led him to move to Indiana to embark on a degree in pharmacy. Upon graduating, he spent the next couple of years working as a pharmacist in different locations, amassing enough lucre to live a relatively comfortable life. Once the outbreak began to spread, Levi was convinced that his role as a pharmacist would aid greatly in the recovery of the population. Unfortunately, this was not the case as the virus was unlike anything that had ever been seen before. There was no time for medication to even be created, let alone distributed. As large-scale devastation began to spread, anarchy reigned and, disheartened, Levi fled after stealing supplies from the pharmacy he was working at. Heading back to Illinois to escape with his parents, he returned home to find their burned corpses on the front porch. The sight of his parents' charred, smoldering flesh would change him forever. This was the first time he had truly dealt with tragedy in his life and he was ill-prepared for it. Burying his parents' bodies in the backyard of his childhood home, Levi barricaded himself in the house and refused to emerge until absolutely necessary. Absolute necessity would come soon enough. Unable to ration out his dwindling food supplies any longer, Levi began to leave his house in order to scavenge from local, unoccupied homes and shops. Although his father possessed a firearm, Levi only kept it as a last resort since the sound of a gunshot would cause too many walkers to converge on his location. Fortunately for him, one of the houses in the nearby area had apparently belonged to a civil war enthusiast. Picking a steel replica of a civil-war era sword, Levi returned to his home and heat-treated it in the hopes of keeping it resilient as it would be his only defense against the undead. On one of his scavenging sojourns, he met a fellow traveler named Evelyn. Although their first few interactions consisted mainly of extremely cautious trading, the two eventually became acquaintances. Evelyn had been part of many groups whilst Levi had always survived on his own. Convincing him that his lone wolf attitude would be the death of him in this new world, Levi offered her a place in his house. As resources in the area became more scarce, the two eventually heard the mysterious radio broadcast, summoning them to the 'Black Mountain'. Feeling as if they had no other option, the duo have left their sanctuary and have begun the arduous journey to downtown Chicago. Personality: Levi's primary concern is survival. When starvation, thirst or exhaustion aren't bothering him, he can be quite amicable. He truly desires friendship but views relationships with the inhabitants of this new world as ephemeral. They are either ended willingly or unwillingly, but ended all the same. Perhaps it is best not to become too emotionally invested in people who are just going to die. Weapon: Sword and 9mm pistol.

Age: 25 Height: 5'6" Weight: 130 lbs Appearance: Through a string of good fortune, Evelyn has managed to retain a much healthier look than most other survivors. She has pale skin, light blue eyes and sports a red bobcut with black streaks running through it. Although her wardrobe varies greatly on any given day, she has a predilection for jeans and any kind of leather jacket as they tend to provide more protection against Walker bites than a normal coat. History: A former elementary school teacher, Evelyn's life was completely uprooted after the outbreak. She was taken in by a group of friendly scavengers soon after the spread of the virus and they were able to find refuge in an abandoned bomb shelter, stocked full of food. Although life was relatively comfortable compared to the reign of chaos above them, tensions began to develop within the group regarding the food supply. Unwilling to stay for what was likely to be a bloody conclusion, Evelyn and two others from the group left the bomb shelter. Eventually, the splinter group split up too and Evelyn was left on her own. She drifted from group to group, only joining once she had observed their actions from a distance and deemed them trustworthy. She was almost always welcomed by these groups as she was a nimble and experienced sneaker, always armed with a gun. The fifth group that she became a part of were heading to Illinois as a rumour had told them that the CDC was still operational there. This turned out to be a complete fabrication. Disheartened and becoming disjointed, the group's numbers began to dwindle as members left to go their own way or reconnect with loved ones. An attack on their camp by a group of murderous raiders eventually decimated the rest of the group, or so she fears. She was one of the first to wake up and, making use of her skill set, was able to sneak away undetected. Although she had not formed close relationships with any of the members in the group, her escape still haunts her. To this day, she isn't sure whether or not it's typical survivor's guilt or if she did something truly evil that night when she abandoned the people that she could have saved. Her lone travelling led her to Naperville. There was a dearth of groups in this city but she did happen to observe an interesting man who seemed to be surviving just fine on his own. Deeming him experienced, well-stocked and most likely friendly, she made the connect with Levi. Although the two lived together for a while and are now travelling, she is not sure that she fully trusts hm and realises that the sentiment is mutual. Personality: Evelyn is strong, determined and dedicated. She compensates for her survivor's guilt by truly attempting to take care of anyone who depends on her. For this reason, she has become more sociable although she still finds it difficult to have complete trust in someone. Weapons: Sharp fire iron found in Levi's home (and obtained with his blessing) and a revolver.

Age: 19 Height: 5'4" Weight: 110 lbs Appearance: Skinny and dishevelled but somehow, still pretty. Lily's beauty is a dainty and fragile type. She has blonde hair, fair skin and a light smattering of freckles over her cheeks. History: Lily and her younger sister Callie were both raised by their grandparents on their rural farmhouse after a car crash left their parents dead. Although Lily was 10 at the time, Callie was only 1; too young to truly remember her parents. Despite her young age, Lily began to take on a maternal role to Callie as well as being her older sister and, along with her grandparents, helped to raise her. A shy and timid girl, Lily spent most of her life sans the friendship of other girls her age, choosing to devote her time to Callie instead. The age gap was not too much of a sacrifice as, relatively speaking, Callie was quite precocious. Life at the farmhouse was tranquil but the outbreak would soon change that. Living in isolation managed to help them in the first few months of the outbreak but they were soon the victims of a passing herd. Lily's grandparents, who had given her more than she could have ever asked for, gave her a final gift. In some ways, it could be construed as a curse. It may have been better for her and Callie to have just died that night. Wanting to give their granddaughters a chance, the couple said their tearful goodbyes to the girls and rushed out, lighting the barn on fire to attract the herd. Armed with shotguns, they made as much noise as they could in order to divert the herd's attention and allow both Lily and Callie to escape. Though Lily was reluctant to leave her grandparents behind, they all agreed that it was best for Callie. It would be hard growing up in this world but the permanence of this awful situation was not guaranteed. Lily and Callie have survived so far by remaining quiet and being adept at hiding. Lily, in her role as Callie's guardian, has never tried to establish a rapport with any wandering group, choosing to avoid them altogether. The only person she trusts with Callie's life is herself. Personality: Unlike other survivors, the world has not hardened Lily. She refuses to be changed but is worried that the time will come soon when she must take dreaded action. Preserving the life and safety of her younger sister means more to her than anything else in the world. Weapons: Unarmed

Pronunciation: Kuh-lie-uh-pee Age: 9 Height: 4'6" Weight: 72 lbs Appearance: Calliope is the very picture of innocence. She has big, blue eyes that lend to a consistently inquisitive expression. Her skin, like her sister's, is fair, but she has no freckles. Her golden-blonde hair is tied into a french braid that circles her head and goes down to the base of her neck. History: Callie does not remember her parents at all but frequently requests Lily to regale her with their stories. Sociable and charming, Callie had no problem making a vast amount of friends at school, but she still chose to spend the most time with her doting older sister. Lily is Callie's role model and it is her aspiration to imitate her older sister's morality. Her youthful innocence, however, has been scarred by the terrible night that her grandparents sacrificed themselves in order to save her and Lily from the monsters. She is growing up a lot faster than Lily wants her to and sometimes shows signs of reflecting the world that she is being raised in. However, Callie, unlike Lily, longs for companionship. She has no preference for company, just for it to exist. Lily has scared her with stories of how terrible other survivors are but she retains hope in her heart that, somewhere out there, there are good people waiting to welcome them into a safe group. Callie and Lily are constantly on the move, never staying in one place for more than a few days. Gaining all this experience means that Callie is more than capable of fending for herself. Although she has no way to fight the walkers, she has become an adept runner and, due to her small size, is able to hide in spaces that they won't be able to reach. Against Lily's wishes (and knowledge), Callie managed to scavenge a gun from a safe in a store that she and Lily had been scavenging in. Despite her young age and innocence, Callie's reason for keeping the gun is frightfully mature. The two bullets in the chamber are not intended for walkers. Personality: Callie is a sweet and friendly girl who enjoys helping other people. She is protective of her older sister and thinks the world of her. As she is still developing, the cruelty of this world is having a negative effect on her. Sometimes she feels it, and it terrifies her. She was the cheer captain, varsity basketball player, and second in her grade. Many would expect her to be preppy, and she has definitely heard her fair share of blonde jokes. Elizabeth is a very intellectual student, no matter her strong personality, she always has something stirring in her head. All was well for her in school, despite some raunchy taunts here and there. While her life at home, was a little more complex. Her father, who had served in the military for some time, had been discharged for his post-traumatic stress. He had become suicidal. Struggling to help her father, retain her grade in school, as well as taking care of herself had become strenuous. The stress had changed her, forced her into a maturity that someone of her age should naturally fall into over time. Rather, she was ruthlessly forced into this phase. When the outbreak hit, her world wasn't turned upside down. It was dragged further into it's dark abyss. Ellie had tried to get her father to come with her, but his mental state ad rapidly declined. Instead, he saw this as "Gods way out". Ellie will never forget the twisted smile she saw that day, framing unkempt face of her father, just before he ran out of the patio door, and into the awaiting jaws of death. As shaken as she was, her body still found a way to function. She grabbed her father's army pack, which she had filled with canned food, bottles of water, spare clothes, and mounted her father's handgun. As she headed away from her house that day, it took all that she had not to look back. |Personality| - Ellie is very charismatic, using her appearance and persuasion to get what she needs. If need be, she can lie fairly easily. - As second in her class, she is smart, and she is tactical: due to her father's military background. - She can be very protective, as she is used to a more motherly role. - Sometimes, Ellie can be snarky, or sharp-tongued. Normally, she means well. - She isn't very quick to trust, she's seen firsthand what affect the apocalypse can have on you. |Weapons| - Beretta M9: Three bullets remain. - Her pocket switchblade.
Dragonbud's character:
Age: 17 Height: 5'5 Weight: 120 Appearance: History: (All of this is player knowledge, any people or groups she comes in contact will not know this) Her parents were some of those 'Dooms Day Preparers” that television shows focus on. They had an abundance of food, water, a shelter in the basement as well as weapons and medical supplies. So they were absolutely delighted when they heard news of the rapidly spreading disease, going as far to tell the neighbors “I told you so.” Kylie could see how their greed transformed them. No matter who came to their house; friends, relatives, her parents would turn them away. Kylie was locked up in the house all day, completely governed by her parents. They no longer acted like parents, but instead were dictators. Kylie understood why they were so strict and stingy about supplies, but there wasn't even any kindness to be spared. The only thing in the house to bring Kylie joy was her little sister, Megan. Kylie knew it if wasn't for Megan she either would have left home to strike it out on her own, or she would have gone insane. Soon, news of the illness spreading through the air reached Kylie's home. Her parents went absolutely mental. All windows and doors were locked and boarded up, and every family member was not to talk or stand near each other. Her parents were ready for anything, but this. Soon her parents both fell ill, and Kylie knew her time as well as her sisters would soon be up. The two grabbed any supplies they could carry and fled the house. Problems immediately arose as protecting a little girl all by herself was challenging. She eventually met up with a group who were more then happy to bring in a teen and a child. Kylie knew she was being tasked with protecting the most important thing in her life. She gave everything she could to her little sister. But soon her young body began to fall from the strain of survival. Kylie began carrying Megan everywhere, giving her all medical supplies she had and all extra food and water. However, the young girl was unable to carry on and died in Kylie's arms. The death of her sister was absolutely devastating to her, and she became very reclusive from the rest of her survivor group. Time passed and wounds began to heal, but Kylie wished she could have saved her. Things just continued to go downhill for them when raiders attacked, killing many and scattering the rest. Kylie is starting this role play very alone, very scared, and very low on supplies. Personality: Kylie wishes she could be loving and soft, but mostly comes off with a 'leave me alone' sort of vibe. She doesn't like asking for help, and has trouble putting complete trust in someone. This often leads to her keeping to herself, or lying. Kylie is also trapped between being an adult and being a kid, and being thrown into an apocalypse doesn't help at all. She has little to no life experience outside of high school. And knowing the Pythagorean Theron isn't helping her much. Weapon: A machete (in a sling on her side) and a 9mm glock pistol with no ammo.
Nevermind's character:
Age 21 Height 1.85m Weight: 79kg Appearance History Isaak was born in Rhodes, Greece. His was raised by his mother, an author. He never knew his father. When Isaak was very young, he and his mother moved to Los Angeles, where they settled. Despite his mother's fairly steady wage and her intelligence, the family of two ended up in a rough end of L.A. As a result, Isaak was street smart and also talented academically. However, the further he went with school, the more his life on the outside got involved - some street gangs and a few minor spontaneous crimes paid their price and he fell behind. He continued to excel physically and hoped of one day enlisting in the army, though his mother forbid it, citing that as her only family she would not want him to risk his life. Respecting his mothers wishes, Isaak instead pursued a career as a boxer. He quickly learned that he had great talent and by the age of 19 he was eyeing a professional career. At the age of 20, he was spotted by an agent who promised him a future as a pro, though soon later a certain flesh-eating virus began to spread rapidly and any future in an industry such as boxing seemed impossible. After discovering his mother was dead he and a friend fled L.A. and constantly moved across the country seeking safety. Somewhere along the way, they were attacked by a group of survivors seeking supplies - Isaak took a shot to the shoulder and his friend was killed. Narrowly surviving the encounter, he continued seeking refuge, now alone. Eventually, he heard word that Chicago was much safer than where he was, so he made his way there. Personality Isaak will always treat people he meets as his equal, unless of course they do something to alter his opinion. Otherwise, he will try to be friendly and keep an open mind - this however, by no stretch of the imagination, means he trusts them. Isaak's philosophy of trust has been challenged and changed over the years by the wide range of people he has encountered, leaving him with little trust to give. Sure, he will try and act kindly towards everyone he meets, within reason, but unless you have his trust, all he sees you as is something that will help him survive for a little longer. Truth is, he'd rather be alone than with strangers, but he knows that would be ignorant. Survival is his first priority when in the company of those he does not know. He has been backstabbed too many times to think otherwise. If you earn his friendship and trust, he will no longer think of his own survival, but yours too. Weapon Standard handgun, fair amount of ammunition.
Warrior in the Shadows' character:
Age: 28 Height: 5'8" Weight: 180 Appearance: History: -He was terrible in school and much preferred to play with automotives. -He joined the army as a mechanic and served for six years. 3 years active and 3 years reserve. -He became a camping and hunting enthusiast after his time in the army. -He worked as a mechanic after leaving the army and before the virus outbreak. -Even though he was just an army mechanic, he did see one combat tour and saw his share of combat in his fifteen months on deployment. -In the initial stages of the virus, he stuck to his daily schedule, until the mechanic shop he worked at was raided and burned to the ground. -He later hid in a campground for a few months before heading out and capturing working vehicles and scavenging parts from other vehicles. Personality: Pretty blunt, most of the time. He can be pretty easy going. He was a hopeless drunk before the outbreak and it took all the alcohol being inaccessible for him to stop drinking. He does still chew tobacco whenever he finds it and will drink a beer when he has downtime, which isn't often. He does chewing tobacco anywhere, as it helps him stay awake from the lack of sleep, what with all the zombies in Chicago trying to chew him. He's very hard working and isn't very good with teams as he does a lot of his own thing. He still enjoys having company as opposed to going mad with a bunch of zombies biting at his heels, constantly. He loves country music and death metal(such as Five Finger Death Punch). Weapons: -Monkey wrench(he uses more as a tool than a weapon) -9mm Hi-Point Carbine(with three mags) -Crowbar(uses more than his wrench) -Has 60 rounds of 9mm -He is also very strong from years of weightlifting and working as a mechanic
D. After doing that, she cried to the point that her voice vanished, and she wanders the street of her favorite area in the districts. She managed to live on her own for a few years, but as supplies has become scarce, her strength and will slowly sapped to her current state. Personality: As of now she's extremely shy and quiet. History: Born to a Japanese father and an American mother, Joe has had the displeasure of being between two cultures. In his youth, he was a rebel who always managed to get into trouble. As he grew older.. He was still, disappointingly, a bit of a ruffian. As he got older, it was his father that introduced him to both motorcycles and the way of making ancient Japanese swords in an effort to focus his son's energy on more productive things. When the virus struck, Joe and a few other of his closest friends banded together to survive. They were part of a motorcycle club before the arrival of the virus, and used their skills and talents to head towards Black Mountain on their nimble (yet highly gas-efficient) bikes. Over time and having crossed over a couple states, the members of the motorcyclists-turned-survivalists-club, now known as 'Red Rim', dwindled or got separated. And with each loss of a great friend, Joe's mental state become more and more unstable. Finally reaching Chicago, it seems like the end is near, but riding his way to Black Mountain seems like a long journey despite the fact that he's only cutting across a city- the city itself was crawling with creepies. Joe has mowed down many a zombie with his motorcycle and Japanese cavalry sword, but this was becoming way too much. Having promised his best friend to take care of his daughter Haleigh in his absence, Joe and Haleigh try to figure out a way to find and enter the humanity's last known bastion. Personality: With a deteriorating personality and mental state, Joe is generally an wacky, reckless, buffoon, sometimes during the most inopportune time possible. Joe thinks of himself as a smooth talker that is able to get out of any sticky situation, but in reality his chances are usually 60/40: 60% being failure. Joe has at times shown great fearlessness, but it is really just forced courage. His nickname, given to him by his friends, 'Kikuchiyo Joe', is derived from his resemblance to a character from the classic Seven Samurai. The nickname also doubles as a unique identifier, as some people within Red Rim have the same first names as other members. Weapons: Odachi cavalry longsword

Age: 18 Height: 5'4 Weight: 105 lbs Appearance: Short and petite with short chocolate brown hair and blue eyes that hide behind clear low-profile eyeshields. Wears a black leather jacket and matching black jeans, complete with gloves and boots. On the back of her jacket is the logo of Red Rim. History: Having just graduated a few months before the outbreak, her and her father teamed up with Joe, her father's best friend, to survive. Eventually, her father and a few others of Red Rim split off to allow the other members to survive. She doesn't know if they are dead or not. Now, everything else is just a blur. Personality: A soccer player in high school, Haleigh is a surprisingly fit person put into a small package. Sweet and easygoing among those close to her, she is also feisty and witty, especially when threatened. Having been a daddy's girl, she hung around him and 'Uncle Joe' at a young age, picking up their habits and skills. Both Joe and her father loved motorcycles, and Haleigh learned to repair them. Her father also happened to be a welder, and in doing so, taught Haleigh how. Now the skill is put to use as she hobbles together armor from scrap salvage when resources allow. Haleigh was given the nickname 'Hurricane Haleigh' by members of Red Rim due to her sacrificing precious resources (various compressed gasses used for welding) in order to save survivors from a hungry zombie horde. The gas containers were used as explosives, and it is said that the explosion created such great gusts that the wind itself could cut (having metal shrapnel helped too, of course). Weapons: Blowtorch
Wolverbell's characters:
Age: 25 Height Samantha: 5'3" Scarlett: 5'4" and 1/2 Weight: Samantha is a bit more curvy than Scarlett. She weighs around 125 while Scarlett weighs about 115. Appearance Samantha: Sam has long, curly, dirty blonde hair that falls to the small of her back. Her eyes are a hazel/green color and she has plenty of tan freckles around her small nose and cheeks, her skin tan. Having played soccer, mainly being the goalie for many years, she is definitely the more "tom boyish" type, and typically wears tan combat boots, light blue skinny jeans and a white long sleeve blouse with a leather jacket over it. She also has a full tattoo sleeve on her right arm. Scarlett: She has short, dirty blonde hair styled in a pixie cut. Her eyes a more green than hazel but she has the same freckles that her twin sister has, the same tan skin. Unlike her sister, Scarlett is a bit more graceful, having spent her years in gymnastics and ballet. She has no tattoos and the only piercings that she has are the two on her ears. She prefers to wear clothing that will help her remain free and flexible. She's usually wearing some sort of running pants or leggings, a loose long sleeved black shirt and a black hoodie over it; she wears this along with running shoes. History: The only few things I'll put out about the sisters is that they're identical twins. They are originally from Pheonix, Arizona but ended up in the city when they both received full ride scholarships for two different reasons. They were the eldest of their siblings. Having a younger sister and a baby brother that were killed when the outbreak happened, along with their parents. Personality: Samantha is a very blunt girl. She takes a while to open up and only cares about her survival as well as her sister's. If she likes you, she's a complete sweetheart and will do whatever she can to make sure you're safe. Scarlett on the other hand is a complete sweetheart from the moment she meets someone. She might seem like a smartass, a dick at times, but she does cry easily. While Sam is a somewhat difficult to approach, Scarlett will welcome almost anyone with open arms and a smile on her face. Don't let it fool you though. Once Scarlett is pissed, she has no mercy. Unlike her sister, Scarlett rarely sheds tears and has no problem showing someone that they should fear humans more than the zombies around them. Weapon: Both girls carry a 9mm beretta on them at all time with a couple extra mags in their backpacks. Samantha carries a black and pink crossbow while Scarlett caries a black, gator machete pro hanging from her hip.
Xiledx's character:
Age: 23 Height: 5'10" Weight: 153 Appearance: He has short, messy, black hair. His whole body has become pale and very bony from the lack of food and water. His eyes are dark blue. He wears a hoodie with grey and black stripes, with a fully black t-shirt underneath. He has a pair of jeans with holes and cuts across the whole this. He also has a pair of red running shoes. History: Most of his history will be left for the IC. He was a business man that lived in British Columbia, Canada. He had to go to the Chicago area for some work related stuff. When people in the hotel that he was in found out about the virus, they boarded up the entrances, and they would only be taken off for when people went on supply runs. At one point, a woman that lost her husband when he went out for a supply run, killed herself by overdosing on pills. However, when one of her friends went to say hello, she was bitten by her. After that, the whole place went to hell, and very few people escaped. After that, he just wandered around the area. Personality: He is a mostly silent person, preferring to be unnoticed, though he is not afraid to say what is on his mind. He can be very sarcastic. He generally stays alone, and usually only makes alliances for a short time. He is able to quickly think of how likely something is able to go in his favour. He is always suspicious of any safe havens, as he knows that they can go to hell very quickly. Marcelo is incredibly smart and resourceful when it comes to intense situations. Instilled with a certain calmness it is hard to rattle his cage. Coming from and older family, he is very prideful and in that is very honorable, he does not believe in being a rat or a back stabber, he finds these both distasteful. As a result of his upbringing he can sometimes come off as crabby or rather nasty towards people he don't know however he is not as mean as he seems, truth be told he just prefers to be respected by those who are younger then him even if they don't know him. He lives by many morals in life, and would die before he ever forsaked those moral, he would also die for his family and anyone that he cares about. He is a fierce friend and even greater ally if you end up on his good side. All in all hes an old soul who comes from a time when things were more based on mutual respect and honorable people, some say this would be his downfall given how the world has changed, but he is who he is and that will never change. Duel Berettas with Italian grips with one extra clip of ammo apiece so total of 60 shots between both guns Black italian steel butterfly knife Job before infection: Italian mob Boss History: (Note: I like to reveal my history through flashbacks and such IC so I will put an up until now history) When the infection first began Marcelo was merely a Mob Boss for the Italian Mafia along side his brother who also was his bodyguard. When it all first started Marcelo sort of ignored the signs figuring it would pass sooner or later and just continued business as usual. But soon enough when the infection was right outside his front door was when he realized the mistake he had made. By the time he found this out it was already pressing on too late, and the entire game had changed. Marcelo organized many attacks with his men, but like everyone else they fell fast to the infection and soon enough the whole town was run down with the infection. Having no other recourse Marcelo fled with his brother and after that became almost nomadic, trying to find some sort of new life in the new hellish world. It went on like this for a year, no general direction to go, just to survive and keep moving never staying in one place for too long. When Marcelo first heard of the Black Mountain he was skeptical, however maybe there was more to it then he thought, and after awhile he eventually changed direction and started heading for Chicago. He is almost there now with his brother by his side, if the rumors are true or not they will soon find out.

General Appearance: - Eye color: Brownish grey - Hair Color: Dark brown - Height: 6'3" - Weight: 170 plbs - Enthicity: Italian - Tattoos: None Age: 40 Gender: Male Personality: Luciano is more of the act first think about it second type of guy, unlike his brother he is more brawn then he is brains which would definitely make them a good pairing in the end. Coming later in life Luciano was more of what you might consider a spoiled child, and thus he acts more like a child, often being one to start petty fight over nothing and saying dumb things just for a rise. Never being the sharpest tool in the shed Luciano more or less is the muscle and sometimes tends to act like a lug head when all is said an done. However even with these downfalls like Marcelo he is filled with pride and also lives his life by a code of honor, he cares for his family and anyone who befriends him deeply and would gladly die if it meant to save those connections. He too would die for his morals even if they are dramatically different from his older brothers. All in all Luciano is more of the joker between the two, the one who makes light of a bad situation to try and make the grim world a little funnier, he is the guy who will smile even when there is nothing to smile about. Some would say that his child like antics and his jokes would be the end of him, however he is just a young soul in and older body. Benardelli PA-12 Shotgun with twenty extra shells Italian butterfly knife Job before infection: Body guard to the Mob Boss History: When the infection first began Luciano was one of the ones who was ecstatic about it, more often then not he would try to tell his brother they needed to gun up and get ready for the worst believing in such things as the apocalypse, however Marcelo never heeded his warning and he watched as things got worse and worse as the weeks passed on. Eventually his fears came to pass and their men were cut down group by group as the streets were filled with the infected, with no other recourse afforded to them his brother and him fled from the city with the only weapons they both had on them and became nomadic. They traveled for almost a years worth of time, scavenging for what they needed, ammo, food water and the works. When Luciano first heard of Black Mountain he had a glimmer of hope that perhaps there was a safe haven from all this hell, however his brother Marcelo was rather skeptical. It took time, but Luciano finally convinced Marcelo to go to Black Mountain and so it was, they changed direction and began their descent to Chicago, they are almost there now and while Marcelo is still skeptical Luciano holds out hope that there is a safe haven in Chicago. For the past five generations his forefathers have served with distinguish in both the Black Watch Regiment of Scotland and the US 16th Infantry Division. Diagnosed with asthma at a young age, and therefore unable to join the armed forces, Dan's father treated him like an outcast and was cold and formal with him. Growing up on war films to try and make up for his missed opportunities, Dan desperately wanted that sense of comradeship seen in the movies, that sense of brotherhood. At 16 he joined the closest thing to it - a paintballing group who encouraged teamwork and an almost military precision, training and combat procedures. Dan flourished. He recieved his nickname 'metro' because during a week long battle he had helped organise in the middle of Massachusetts with five other paintballing groups, he constructed a trench system which went almost undetected until an enemy pissed into the trench accidentally in the night and a teammate cried out in horror, thus bearing him the name 'Metro', for 'metro tunnel system'. His father still disapproved, but was happy(-ish) to see that Dan was eager to try something similar despite his condition. Dan rose the ranks of the Shadow Fury Clan (a name which Dan would relentlessly petition against), and was 2IC at the time of the Outbreak. The SFC survived the initial tragedy, but as it was revealed later, bites and scratches carry the infection, as the force soon realised when an undead ravaged nearly 40% of the group by turning whilst in the middle of the herd and causing pure carnage. The group continued to be picked away until 4 people remained - Dan, Mike, Jim, and Cate. Cate was Dan's girlfriend at the time, but she shot herself through the temple when watching Mike gorge on Jim's intestines like spaghetti. Dan was all alone. Personality: Normally quite shy, watchful, but can interject if he so pleases. Bright and practical, with a clear goal of trying to save everyone. He was not a city boy, or a country boy. Jason lived in a Minnesota suburb until he was finished with High School. From there he went on to college in Florida. Jason's college days were spent mainly doing three things; partying, studying, and working. For 3 years that is almost all he did, and he enjoyed it. Near the end of the summer before his final year of college, Jason found himself in Chicago on a lay-over back to Florida. There were no friends of his with him, and most of his belongings were aboard the plane still. Before the flight could take off, all flights were cancelled. Jason, not wanting to wait around for until they were running again, decided to take a bus. At first it was going well, he was on the outskirts of Chicago. But before long, things went sour. The bus was called back into Chicago, and again, Jason tried finding another way out of the city. This time, via a couple that was heading back to their home in Georgia. After a few hours of figuring out a plan, the trio left. Within an hour they were in deadlocked traffic, and again Jason was faced with a wait. This time, he decided to wait. A decision that would affect his life poorly. It is not often that Jason discusses the events that transpired in the early days of the outbreak, but it is obvious that he came face to face with the horrors and reality of it at an early stage. Almost two months later, Jason found himself traveling with a rowdy pack of highwaymen, rapists, thieves, murderers, and all other kinds of unsavory characters. Again, he usually avoids discussing how he came to be with the group. However, he is open enough when it comes to talking about the things he did and saw. The crimes that Jason committed while running with the group were numerous. He raped, he murdered, he stole, and a number of other things. In fact, Jason slowly came to the realization that he loved doing what he was doing. Evil seemed to suit him well. Things were going very well. Months had passed and Jason had been skating by quite comfortably. The majority of the run ins he had with the infected, and non-infected, were "fun". Stress and worry had been far from his mind for a very long time. Then, one night, things changed. He was not faced with a moral dilemma or kicked out of his merry band. Something more spiritual happened. Jason had a dream. To most, his dream would sound like just a random dream, one of those ones that you think about after waking up but not for too long. It was simple in nature. A light burned bright in front of him, the outline of a person stood in the middle of it. The figure spoke to Jason briefly before disappearing and waking Jason up. "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.". With a new lease on life, Jason took to the road, alone. He did not become a fanatical religious man after the dream, it just managed to frighten him. It made him change is ways. Jason did not know where he was, or where he was going. All he knew was that he needed to surround himself with others to keep himself going. After days of walking, he finally found himself somewhere he recognized. Chicago.
