"Hey there." Miles said as she opened the door. He gave her a hug as he walked into her dorm. He noticed she smelt really good. As she closed the door behind him he looked around the dorm. It looked similar to his, except he only saw one bedroom. "No roommate. Must be nice." He said sitting down on the couch. "My roommate is from New York. He's an okay guy, but I'd rather have the dorm to myself." Karah asked him if he wanted anything to drink. "Soda if you've got it. As long as it's not diet." Miles replied. As she brought him a soda and he took a sip, he noticed music in the background. "Who is this?" Miles asked. Motioning in the air. "Music I mean. I really only listen to classic rock, but this is alright." He watched as Karah sat down next to him. He took another sip of his drink and set it down. He was trying to push his nervousness down. "So, I'm glad you seem in a better mood from earlier. That girl sounded like she was still stuck in high school. She'll learn soon that life isn't a popularity contest." Miles nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess we ought to get the generic small talk out of the way first." Miles smiled. "I'm from Thermopolis Wyoming. It's a fairly small ranching town about a mile outside of Yellowstone. Our ranch is mainly for breeding work horses, but we have a few goats and other random animals out there. Growing up I was always around animals, and I saw how much my dad would have to pay the vet every time we took one of the horses in. So I figured become a vet myself so I could take care of the animals myself." Ashe finished, Miles took another drink. He was worried he may be boring Karah, but she seemed to be listening intently. "So," Miles started, putting down his drink. "What about you? Where are you from and what bring you out to Nevada?" He was trying his best to keep eye contact with her, but his eyes kept wandering to her tattoos.
