It is 3,002,014 AD now and Earth has been uninhabited for almost 3 million years. The last humans left in the year 2,055. There is no remnants of previous human life there now. Even toxic chemicals and plastics have been destroyed and over come by nature. No one knows what animals and creatures reside here now. Earth has returned to a completely natural state where only animals roam.
Humans are very nearly extinct, during the early 2000's nearly all the supernatural creatures evacuated the earth on ships that were often perceived as UFOs or other unidentifiable phenomenon. Humans unfortunately remained on the earth for another 40 years or so. Society collapsed and world wars raged, many were killed and others forever changed as leaders looked for ways to find and manipulate the human race. 
Meanwhile many light years away the supernatural creatures such as witches, lycans, pixies, faeries, vampires, and many other creatures were settling a new planet very similar to earth with many new creatures. Over the years when humans did finally evacuate and figure out how to get to the planet where the supernaturals had settled very few were left. Even fewer exist in modern times because most were made sterile because of the chemicals used in warfare and experimentation.
Now it is time for the return to Earth. The Council, the major governing body for the current world, called for a team of subjects, adventurers and survivalist that will return to earth to start the process of reclaiming the planet with plans to do things right this time. They will land in a designated spot on the planet which has changed drastically over the last three million years. They will face many challenges in finding a new place to settle and survive. With them they will bring supplies and a few animals that are hardy and intelligent.[/hider]

Modern Earth is approximately 75% water, 33% covered in ice. The magnetic poles have be reversed, the top pole is now magnetic south and the bottom pole is magnetic north. The magnetic field is now strong enough to disable all but very basic technology.

Erellon is the planet that the supernaturals fled to, it is approximately 65% water, the magnetic poles are the same as Earth in 2014, and 40% is covered in Ice.

This will very much be a sort of free play kind of game but there will be plot twists to keep things going. Anyone involved will be involved in the creation of the predators and prey animals that exist on this Renewed Earth. 
You can create new kinds of creatures to play. My only requirements is that they be able to either verbally or mentally (telepathically), for some of the more commonplace creatures I will create guidelines for their creation so there isn't so much discrepancy between characters.
