Ash glanced towards Melissa, "I specified what footage I wanted. Do I need to say it again? Did you not hear it properly? And did you not hear me allowing you to play with Ultramax on the Roller Rink? Just play on the Roller Rink." He then unwrapped the next soy based snack cake, crinkling the wrapper in his left hand. "Ooooh! What flavor is this one." Ash said as he pressed his nose against the empty wrapper, as he held the snack cake in his metallic arm. "Huh, mystery flavor? Ace!" Ash bit into the snack-cake, as he squished it around in his mouth. "Hm... what flavor is it..."

Melissa just stared in disbelief. "Yes. Cannibalism. High quality. Very raw. Easy stuff to get actually," she answered. "In fact, I already have a few of those." She actually didn't but she knew she could find them fast enough that it didn't matter. The images from the camera feed kept flashing in her eye. "By the way, the most excellent Ricardo Ramirez just slammed facefirst into a car, so I'm not seeing a very compelling case for roller skating." She switched off the arcade, and let the goons wipe it clean. "Why don't you give it a try?".

"Good, you remembered. Fetch it. And so he slammed face first into a car. Excellent." he said through chunks of soy-cake. Even better than planned, if it is what I expect. Ash smiled as held up his left index finger, "IT IS TEQUILA FLAVOR! I found the gummy worm! The gummy worm is ALWAYS the best part! YAAAAAAAAY!"

Ultramax made to get off the rink with big, booming steps, thinking this skating thing a waste of time, when suddenly he sunk waist deep into the floor. A heavyweight battle unit and a poorly mantained wooden floor didn't mesh quite well, it seemed. "Alert, Ultramax has discovered a booby trap in enemy territory. Requesting permission to re-engage in hostile action against the remains of the opposition". His guns whirred to life again, targetting the goons that had already surrendered.

"No. They work for me. No shooting, permission denied. Mission Parameters however updated. Identify and collect the booby trap." Ash said as he glanced around observing his goons. He moved a few steps away from the Roller Rink. Well, I am sure the Killbot can handle whatever is there. he thought to himself. He paused as he pointed at a random goon, "Recover the item that is beneath the floorboards, quickly. I assure you the Deathbot will not deathmurderkill you. OOOOH... THE DEMOLITION MAN! I LOVE THAT MOVIE! EVERYTHING AT THE BEGINNING WAS LIKE "KAAAAAABOOOOM KABOOOM!" Ash threw his hands wildly into the air as he began laughing, "OH! OH, AND THEN SNIPES IS UNFROZEN AND HE'S LIKE "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU ALL!" AND THE COPS WERE LIKE, "OH WHAT DO WE DO!? PEOPLE ARE GETTING MURDERED!? INCONCIEVABLE!"

"Wait!" shouted Melissa, hearing about some boobytrap. Judging by the lack of explosions and the fact that Ultramax was still intact, whatever he stepped in was obviously not a boobytrap. But she didn't trust any goon other than herself to check it out. "There may be any number of anti-tampering countermeasures in place, electronic, physical or quantum" she said, making up some semi-plausible reason to look at it herself. "Which may or may not compromise the structural integrity of whatever is down there or even the integrity of the roller rink itself," she added.

She began to make her way towards the hole, and towards Ultramax. "I'll look into it, I'm an expert." She examined the hole Ultramax made, making sure to step lightly.

Ultramax's weapons powered down when his request was denied. If his face could express emotion he would've looked quite dejected. "The remains of the opposition are most...fortunate" he stated dryly as Melissa approached to examine the hole. "The booby trap appears to be of crude make and little effectiveness. If Steelhead is to boobytrap a facility Ultramax suggests utilizing Acheron Enterprises Landmine Model 8 for maximum kill range".

"It makes the guys into Chunky Salsa far too quickly! You gotta use lower grade mines when you force the enemies to run through! So it harms them enough that death is imminent, and they are still up to feel the sheer pain!" Ash said as he threw up his hands. He shook his head. "And they WORK for ME! Jeez it's like you don't realize that. Anyway so what is down there?"

Beneath the splintered wood, covered till it was near invisible with dust, dirt, insect corpses, something glinted. It appeared to be a small store-brand fireproof safe, no larger than a briefcase, five digit combination lock... should be easy enough to crack, given a little time and energy.
____
Kwu's pocked vibrated- it was more noticeable now then it was when he was focused on the chase, that was for sure. A message appeared on the little screen, reading "16b".

Ultramax reached down, breaking more of the floor in the process, and produced the small safe pinched between two of his rather large digits. Raising it up to his eyes, he stared at it (as far anyone could tell) before setting it down on the floor. The one he broke, not the one underground. "Ultramax has found a locked safe. Shall Ultramax break it open?".

"YES!" Ash howled out in a very fervent voice. He began cackling as he did the finger pyramid of evil. Wait, what if it is really rare drugs you can sell for Universal Credits!?" Ash paused in thought as he began rubbing his right temple with his metallic hand. He held his metallic hand out, with his palm facing down as he gestured the rest of his fingers to move forward then back. "Yes, break it open."

Kwu pondered for a moment, 16b... He didn't recall anything about that off the top of his head.
He grabbed Ramirez's unconscious body, threw it in the back of the car and drove carefully back to the rink.

While on his way, he tried to remember any event of his career that could be related to this message.

Melissa stared at Ultramax. "Hold up, the contents might be delicate. Let me take a crack at it. If that doesn't work, we smash it open."

She wasn't a safecracker, by any means, but the principles behind this and hacking weren't terribly different. Exploit flaws, break the sytem, so on. She'd read a couple of articles, and this wasn't a terribly complicated safe, she hoped. She stepped to the safe, dusted off a section, and pressed her ear to it. She turned the digits on the safe, paying close attention to the clicking of the cylinders inside. With some luck, she'd be able to pull the combination to the safe.

16b... 16b... well, there was one thing. A fuzzy memory of his, from when he had first joined the triad- he'd been the driver, job wasn't anything special, just killing a guy who was working for... the Black Turtle Triad? Pretty sure that was it, yeah. Guy's apartment number was 16-b, a computer programmer.
Well, the apartment building had been demolished two years ago, so that was out. Perhaps one of his fellow Steelheads would know?
__________
It was a simple enough task to crack the safe, the cheap tumbler giving giving a ever-so-faint *click* with each correct digit.

Open. She recognized it, a number that just about any programmer worth their salt would know by heart: 2^16-1

Ash sighed in boredom. "Was the thing that Ultrmax found useful in anyway?" He scratched his chin with his metallic arm. After that he returned it back to his side. Lifting it back up again he waved his metal index finger, and began singing a little tune. "Hot Cha! Where are you?/Everybody's eyes are closed./I can't see why I miss you so/ So Hot Cha whe-." He paused again as he began moaning, "I'm boooooooored, was there anything fun in the box? Like Mouse Trap, Connect Four or something? Snuff Films? B Horror Flick? Toys? Torture implements? Aaaaanythiiiing at all?"

Kwu parked the now destroyed car back in it's spot, ready for it's owner to freak out (if he wasn't dead yet).
He pulled out Ramirez's limp body, making sure to avoid the piss-stained areas and dragged him inside, back to his colleagues.

"Got him back. A little roughed up, but not dead" he said in a disinterested tone.

He threw the man on a nearby sofa.
"Does 16b ring a bell for any of you? Got a message while driving and the only thing I can remember is some rundown apartment that was demolished a few years back. Belonged to a programmer from the Black Turtles."

"16B? Oh you mean Omid 16B. Yeah he was DJ in London." Ash glanced at Ricardo. "If he starts bleeding on my couch, I want him off." Ash paused as he grinned, "Oooh does anyone have grey hair dye or anything, when he gets up I want to convince him he slept for years! That'd be funny."

The safe sprung open, revealing a pile of old documents. Upon closer examination, it seemed to be information pertaining to the last group ENKI had worked with- further reading showed that each of them (three in total) was given a satellite uplink which, together, could be used to triangulate ENKI's position.
In order, they were:
Eleri T. Vaughan
Damian H. Van Laar
Igor R. Filipov

Ash sighed in boredom as he jumped towards Melissa, and stealing the unlocked box from her. He took a few feet back as he placed it on the floor. He held out his free hand as he scanned it with his metallic arm. Good, that box was made out of a stronger material that did not allow for the Cootie Contagion to spread... I must have an analysis on this material done pronto, to see if there is a potential vaccine that can be constructed from it. He glanced at the inside of the safe, as he glanced through the documents.

"Alright, fufilling the Current Mission Parameters on the ENKI Pursuit has brought us some leads. There are three individuals, Eleri T. Vaughan, Damian H. Van Laar, and Igor R. Filipov, all of whom have a unique satellite uplink. Now then, I propose we go after Damian H. Van Laar, because... HE HAS AN AWESOME NAME! Then again, they all have cool manly names."

Ash held out his left hand as he did some mental calculations, attempting to recall if he had heard any of those three through his underworld channels.

Ultramax shrugged. Or he did the mental equivalent of shrugging, for he was a robot that wasn't too familiar with human expression, so his body just remained as still and seemingly unresponsive as usual. Sometimes it was hard to tell whether he was functioning or not. "Mission parameters updated. Ultramax is not familiar with any of the targets, no tactical recommendations available. Suggest acquiring further information". He then looked down as if remembering something, saw that half his body was still going through the rink and looked up at Ash again. "Ultramax requests permission to exit the boobytrap. The structural integrity of the skating rink may be further compromised in the process".
