I knew he was calling me a nerd. It was just said in a way that seemed to imply the spam community wasn't as well. 

And to clarify before something heats up, whenever I call someone 'Geek' or 'Nerd' I don't mean it as an insult but as a compliment.
It's when I'm calling something a Normie that I'm insulting somebody.
