Mikael followed the others into the club, keeping his eyes down, appearing as an act of submission, but in reality, he was attempting to prevent any glamours from happening. When Trixy and Carson went the dance floor, Mikael followed David to the bar. He acted as though he was glamoured to David, not even attempting to sit down, even before David ordered him to stand. He stood in silence, his eyes pointed at the floor until he saw movement he recognized as Carson in front of him. He peeked his eyes up, avoiding any chance of a glamour, but enough to see Carson was trapped deep in a vampire's seductive control. He was nervous, but didn't want to pull out a gun, especially since he was supposed to be glamoured anyways. To Mikael's relief, David decided to take care of Carson, ordering Mikael to stay with the bartender and drink. As soon as the bartender set down the Crown, Mikael took it as a single shot without a second thought. He had a remarkably high tolerance for alcohol, and often drank his booze fast and hard. As the liquid burned his throat, he made a mental note to thank David for ordering the correct drink. After the drink was gone, marked with a glass almost slammed on the bar, the bartender grabbed the glass, asking, "Do you want another one? You took that one down pretty fast." Mikael kept his eyes locked on a spot of booze on the table left from what splashed out of the nearly-empty glass when Mikael placed it on the table. He simply replied, "Yes, sir." He kept his gaze down. The bartender looked at Mikael with a harsh gaze and growled, "You look at me when you speak at me, you hear, bloodbag?" Mikael decided to risk it, looking up at the bartender, although not into his eyes. Mikael stared right at the bartender's 5 o'clock shadow, a bit of red tinted hair barely growing on the bartender's chin, and repeated, "Yes, sir." The bartender filled another glass with the whiskey, and Mikael took it down without a breath. As he brought the glass down to the table, he saw David, Carson, and Trixy walking towards a booth. Without saying another word to the bartender, Mikael stood and walked directly the booth, sliding in next to David. After Trixy and Carson had said their piece, Mikael said, "When we were at the bar, the bartender said something about the special, which will happen later tonight. Do you guys think that special could have something to do with making us humans 'better'?"
