Jacob saw fragments and stragglers of the herd finally begin to approach the walls. He would have to fight, that much was clear. Jacob grimaced. If the herd got to close all at once, he might have to go nuclear to push them back. It was a fairly unpleasant possibility, but one he would have to prepare for. Jacob through his lead lined jacket off to the side, exposing his radiation. His skin had melted off almost all the way up his arms. A little more emission, and the skin on his chest would begin to peel. Personally, aside from irritation of the skin growing back and his skin peeling off in the first place, he had no problem with being skinless. It was everyone else he freaked out. There had only been one time when the skin on his head had melted off, revealing his skull. Not one human and only a few of his more trusted blessed ones would look at him. Not that he cared, it just annoyed him. But enough reminiscing. One of the dead finally was in range of the wall. Jacob aimed his hand, and a bolt of green energy shot out of his hand, frying the dead's head like an egg. The assault had begun.
