[i][b]The Next Day[/i][/b] The teachers looked around anxiously. It was two hours before the first general assembly of the year that doubled as the opening ceremony for the students. Traditionally, the Headmaster was supposed to give the opening speech before surrendering the stage to the student representative for the seniors who would give the welcome speech and the rules for the school year. The student representative who was currently sick in bed, and the Headmaster who was currently missing. "W-well, who could we find to replace the representative?" "Even if we did find someone to replace her, we still need someone to stand-in for the Headmaster!" "A professor could easily fill that role, but we need to find a student with good academics, reputation, and speaking skills to stand-in for the student representative." Unknown to them, the Headmaster was already searching for one such student. He had in fact anticipated this problem and already had someone in mind . . .
