Dude nobody is going to find conclusive proof over 100 years after the incident, and considering it's the daily mail, that should leave yoself thinking "holy fuck this isn't important", as nothing what those guys say is right, infact - it's probably the opposite if they say so. 

In saying that however, this shouldn't be outright shot down, it should be peer reviewed.
