I totally agree. I read over what we already had and it seemed really...large. Still fun, but just a lot to do. Down the road, we could hopefully incorporate some of our previous ideas. 

I like that. What specifics set this other set apart? The first thought that comes to mind is a smaller pool of people who have a high volume of reaping entries from tessera, that could easily explain how Gale was selected. I think Peeta acting as a mentor is a great idea because Katniss has always wanted to keep him safe. Haymitch could also volunteer in place of Peeta. That just leaves Prim.
