Red Winston The few lines that Red heard from Matt's mouth were his precious treasure. He just told him something that Amanda didn't. The name of the power instructor was Adam Blackmore. That means that Amanda had a relative in the Academy, apart from Nikki. Which meant that, since she didn't tell him, Red was actually free of her game whenever he wanted. After all, it was an important bit of information, since it was about the staff of the Academy. It didn't matter if she forgot to tell him, or she thought it was obvious enough, since he would meet him later, but she didn't tell him and that's that. Red chuckled. He would be using this opportunity to break the deal with Amanda, as soon as he found out who Deborah was and, by the strings of fate, she actually told him. If he was the sentimental type, he would certainly hug Matt. Thank God, Amanda actually sent him to Deborah, in order to talk about God-knows-what. Red pitied Matt, who would be unlucky enough to be her conversation partner. He was wondering how long could he keep it up before Amanda made him leave. He bet the conversation wouldn't hold on for more than 10 minutes, since the guy didn't really seem interested at them, just like he thought. If Amanda was clever enough and asked about what Red's powers exactly were, she would know that she could ask him about how to approach the tough dude. Red probably had lots of people with the same personality locked in his mind, so he could tell her a thing or two about him. But Red didn't care at all about Amanda and the shenanigans she wanted to pull so, just as she said, he left the pair, saying: "Sorry Amanda, I am going to be too busy from now on to do what you say!" He left the duo and headed to Deborah's table. The one-armed guy was there too, speaking to another girl who was sitting there. But Red quickly lost his interest to the guy, too. Instead, he made a quick scan to Deborah, to see what he could find out about her. But, instead of doing it in his mind, he actually told her what he deduced, in order to make an impression to her. Since she was on about secrets, he thought he should show her what he could do himself. "Dark skin color and the shape of the skull indicate African ethnicity, though I assume you are not full-fledged African. Muscle stracture on the legs indicate that you are a track runner, which can be verified by your clothing. From the scars in your fists, I can say that you had your own share of brawls. Sorry for being so straightforward, but I heard a lot about you and I thought I should make an impression. My name is Red Winston. I really wanted to meet you, Deborah!" he said and waited for Deborah to let him sit on the table. Christopher Fox Chris was surprised with Vera's warm welcome. She was also at the Academy during the incident and she was one of the healers that helped the surviving students recover. To be frank, Chris was sure that even Vera, who was one of the most gentle people he met, wouldn't be able to forgive what he did, but he was proved wrong. It seems that the goodness in her heart knew no bounds. Chris was a good friend of Vera, back then and was always watching out for her. She was also one of the two people that knew about his crush on Vespera and, like a true friend, she never told anyone. He felt like he found his younger sister, a person who he could share anything, just like with Henry. Once again, he was ready to cry, but he didn't want Vera to see that. She was a person that Chris didn't want to show tears to. Instead, he gave her a hug with his one arm and his fist closed, so as to not stain her clothes with the blood he had in his palm from the cut he received. "Right now, I wish I had another arm, just to give you a proper hug! I missed you so much Vee!" he said, sniffing every now and then to hold out the tears. Vera looked at his hand, which was cut due to the previous incident with Matt. She was probably eager to heal him, but Chris knew that exerting your powers is tiring and he didn't want Vera to do so, even for a cut this small. His assumption was confirmed when Vera herself asked to have his hand so she can do something about it. He nodded negatively, saying: "I have put you in enough trouble in the past. It is hard to imagine to what excess you used your powers to clean the mess I've made back then. There is no need to do that anymore. I am going to be fine!" He also introduced himself to Deborah, who, as he could see now, was the same person that Valjean was hugging, or, to be precise, head-locking. He wasn't going to judge her because of her possible boyfriend, she could be a good person, after all. "Hello, Deborah! I've seen you in the Administration Room with my roommate the other day, although we didn't get to speak. My name is Chris, I am an old friend of Vera's and the roommate of Valjean. Sorry for not shaking hands, but my hand is a little dirty!" he said with a smile. He once again turned to Vera, excited: "I think we have some catching up to do! I have so many years to see you, I really want to know how have you been!"
