Wikipedia refers to Batman as a superhero while it calls the Punisher an Anti Hero. Batman is not an anti hero because he has moral codes while characters like the Elite are Anti Heroes because they kill. Batman is a hero because despite the fact that he terrorizes, criminals, he is considered a hero by many of his peers.
