However, unless one of your teammates can revive your character by some other means, you will need to wait until the next battle to participate. For BlueAngel's question, I believe Summoning would work about the same as you described. It's like a support character, so you would need to rely on your teammates to protect you. Really, just add as much detail as you can, and do you best to scale your powers to your post count. On average, each round of combat takes about 5-6 seconds, at least it does by D&D rules. If I am incorrect, let me know. So, if you cast a spell that takes ten seconds, you need to allow two rounds of combat to take place before using it.
