Hello, new aspiring GM here, just registered. Would anyone be interested in an low-fantasy adventure involving the colonization and exploration of an unknown, strange continent? Imagine a vast human empire, spanning an entire continent and uniting dozens of different human tribes and cultures under its rule. Now, imagine that this empire decides that what it already owns isn't quite enough, and thus decides to colonize a continent across the ocean. Obviously, this continent is not entirely uninhabited: many peoples have made their homes in these lands since countless aeons. However, these people are no humans: many different races inhabit this land, some similar to man (classic elves'n'dwarves), some strange and alien beings (sentient-candle folk, a kingdom of men that appear carved in stone, just to name a couple). While some of these peoples are friendly to humans, trading, making alliances and even settling with them, some are indifferent or outright hostile to them, seeing them as invaders of their lands. Players could play as humans attempting to make this land theirs, or as natives attempting to drive the humans out, or everything in between. The level of technology could be described as late-medieval, with gunpowder weapons being extremely rare and costly. The plot will remain as "open" as possible, and I will railroad as little as I can. Of course, I am very open to any kind of suggestion. As a last thing, English is not my native language, but I should be fluent almost anytime.
