Faris couldn’t help smirking at Gaspard teasing of Connor. She liked this guy. They could cause a lot of trouble together. Of course, not with Grandpa Connor looking over their shoulders, but still. She giggled when he asked what Mr. D was going to do, imagine that fat bastard in a recliner drinking his coffee and looking like he hated the world. He was too old and stupid to do anything over a simple bonfire. ”Okay!” Faris said excitedly when Gaspard spoke with a rather dashing accent and went to go get more alcohol. While watching him walk away, Faris’s glossy eyes suddenly looked clearer for a moment and she smirked, dumping out a little of the booze in her cup onto the ground. Well, despite Connor’s annoying parental like advice, it looked like chaos might happen either way. Faris glanced at Connor and raised an eyebrow. ”What?” she said in a perfectly sober sounding, annoyed tone of voice. No, she wasn’t drunk. Buzzed yes, but she’d learned to act drunk a long time ago to get what she wanted. And she wanted more fun. But she wasn’t stupid enough to go starting a fire herself when Mr. D had deliberately told her not to. So getting someone else to start it was the next best thing. They would get in trouble if worse came to worst, not her, and she would still have her fun. Then again, she saw several people running off from the party. Ah well. Even if it was a bonfire and s’mores for two she wouldn’t mind too much. Getting to know Gaspard sounded far from unappealing.
