Devron Serravel was not one would expect of a multi-billionaire. Now, granted, he'd acquired the majority of his fortune from his family, but in the past decade that he had spent in the seat of power, the company had only continued to grow and produce. He came from money, so many underestimated him, but he also knew how to keep that money. It didn't help that he looked nearly half his age. Hell, most nights he was still carded at the bars! But he took it all in stride. Dark, ebony waves that fell just past his shoulder framed a face of sharp lines and well-defined cheek bones. His brilliant green eyes - such a deep emerald that most assumed them to be the product of well-chosen contacts - were ever set in slightly slanted eyes. The only acknowledgement genetics had made to an Asian grandparent. Though the dark lines of Khol and mascara that he preferred to use tended to accentuate the feature. Full lips, usually pressed somewhere between a smile and a smirk softened his features. He was more pretty than handsome, something that he disliked immensely. The idea to hire the veterinarian in question had been one of a fleeting amusement. A stray comment at some bar meant to be nothing more. The one who had spoken it had been teasing him about the 'pack' of dogs that he doted on. But the idea had struck an interesting nerve and, in the end, he had decided to go through with it. Connections had never been a problem and it wasn't long before the necessary paperwork was signed off on and he had his very own vet. Now the only question was just how far he was willing to trust him. Things were not as clean-cut as one might think. While on the surface he was a businessman like any other, underneath there was a whole world that he was determined not to let anyone know about. There were not enough of his people openly living in the world to make it safe. And the few that were currently working their way into his territory were not following the rules. It left more than one reason for him needing a vet on call whenever he might need one. When the buzzer sounded, Devron was beat to the door by his three large danes, barking and growling at the unfamiliar voice. Nudging them back without any effort, he hit the button to answer the call, even as he unlocked the door. "Come on in." he voiced across the speaker, even as he moved to head down the stairs to greet the man. Though from the outside it looked like any apartment building, Devron had bought out the place about four years back in order to gut the walls and turn it into a single home with many bedrooms. He much preferred the privacy of having his own home. And while he shared it with a housekeeper, for the most part he kept to himself. At the Master's command, the dogs waited at the top of the stairs as Devron stepped to the bottom and offered the man a hand in greeting. "Welcome, Beau, I"m Dev. Please, make yourself at home." he added, gesturing to the large foyer and the rooms beyond.
