Days passed after the first test and the following days were filled with training. Of course, Jay went through them using all of his strength and kept bugging Joseph about 'saving the world' and such. Eventually, he found himself tired - a tired of waiting tired. While he wasn't exactly the best using 3DMG or other fighting skills, Jay thought he was more than prepared enough to face the titans. Noelle would just sigh at her brother, quietly wondering if he had hit his head when he was a baby. The girl would follow her brother everywhere, silently tagging along with him and Joseph. She would occasionally greet Alice and talk to her about some other topics and would wander around the girl's barracks looking for Scarlet. Eventually, after three days, Noelle gave up on looking for Scarlet. Today, the recruits were sent at the edge of the forest, with their 3DMG gear on. The instructor yelled at a few commands, and off they went. Joseph and the boy from before rushed head along, with Jay hot on their heels. Eventually, he lost sight of Joseph and somehow knew Noelle was just a few meters behind him. He heard a faint crash, but didn't stop to look or help. Instead, he increased his speed, quickly catching up to the first row people. ---- Like that, Noelle hadn't looked where she was going, gracefully slamming into a tree limb. The wood snapped on impact, and she fell. Out of the corner of her eye, Jay had already surged on ahead. Noelle couldn't help but chuckle a bit, before turning mid-air and continued on as if she hadn't just crashed. As she continued moving, her right shoulder and chest slightly burned, but she ignored the pain. A couple of bruises wouldn't kill her.
