People will remain in control of characters they have created from their dynasty even if their shipped off to be married or are hostage in another court (unless you want to give up control of course). What of children you may ask? Well simplest solution then would be whichever last name they have is the dynasty they belong to, and thus, under the control of that player. (pretty much in classic Crusader Kings style)
