Van shook his head at Karah's question. "I think this may the begging of the end, but we're not deep in the apocalypse just yet." Van tried to smile to calm Karah down. Miles got over his initial love affair with the gun and strapped it on his back. He felt Karah scoot closer to him. He put his arm around her and kissed her cheek softly. He saw Van dig through a large trunk as Karah said she didn't like weapons. Van turned back from the trunk and handed Karah something that just looked like a normal blue-tooth head set. Miles looked at Van confused. Van began to explain. "This was actually used to help zookeepers 'talk' to their animals. It would project the person's intentions right into the animal's brain." He saw Miles' and Karah's confused faces. "Basically it would help the animals trust the people that were good and didn't mean them any harm. I modified it to do the same with people. Worst case you can confuse someone and buy yourself some time to get away. My idea, however, is that demons hate pure innocence. So you've got some innocent young woman projecting her purity into a demons head, should do some type of damage. At least that's what I think."
