Just as the two started their bikes, Haleigh motioned to Joe. "I am all for expanding the group, but tread with caution this time. We don't know what's in that truck, and we don't know if what's [i]inside[/i] is friendly. Got it?"

Joe gave her a simple salute, and unsheathed his sword. Haleigh caught up to Marcus, yelling. "If we sense one little hint of unfriendliness, we are leaving. We can't save everyone."

That said, Haleigh fell back next to Joe and the two trailed cautiously and a very safe distance behind Marcus, approaching the truck.
