This looks interesting. Is there a spec that would fit with a support mage? Also, are we creating all our own skills and then sending them to you for approval or something? I ask because I love playing as a temporal mage who is mainly support in these kind of RPs. Edit: Okay then, I guess a temporal mage wouldn't work for this. I'll have to brainstorm something else. Edit2: Here's my assassin character. His specialty is intel gathering and covert assassinations. He's also a player-killer... so yeah.
"Do you want to be friends?" Height: 5’04” Weight: 121lb Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Blue Name: Sean Llewellyn Age: 15 History: Sean's family is pretty well off, despite his father having an abysmal kill-to-death ratio, on account of his mother being "a terrifying predator" (Sean's father's words) during her time in Deep Ground. From what Sean's been told, he's put together that his mother just went around killing every single player she saw. That would make sense with how his father reacts every time she walks into the room. So while Sean hasn't been spoiled, his life so far has been comfortable. When he started out at Purple Crown Academy, Sean was quick to make himself a good sized group of friends. He attracted people to him under the white flag of camaraderie, and then once his group was large enough, he stabbed them all in the back and catapulted himself out of the realm of low leveled amateurs. Needless to say, none of Sean's friends stayed his friends after that. He didn't care though because he'd only played the game better than they had. Even after that first slaughter, Sean continues to level up by preying on others. Many weaker players have died because Sean saw them as free kills, and even more skilled players occasionally fall to one of his traps. Despite having no friends left that trust him, Sean is almost never seen in a bad mood. He's accomplished more than most by playing the game by his own rules, so why should he feel bad about that? If he really needs friends, he can make them after he's beaten Deep Ground Online. Personality: If you ever need to find Sean, just look for the boy in the back of the room staring out the window. Chances are he'll have a hint of a smile on his face as he thinks of something amusing. He's usually quiet and keeps to himself a lot, but if you hear him speak he's actually quite smart and well-spoken. He isn't shy or lacking self-confidence, that's for sure, so why is he always by himself? It's because no one trusts him enough to be his friend. The last group of people who had been Sean's friends he'd killed for a few quick and easy levels. He will manipulate anyone to get ahead, because in the end winning the game is the only thing that matters. Once scanned, a three dimensional image of the object can be projected. Cannot scan and project at the same time, and there is a two second cooldown between switching from scanning to projecting. Can only store the data of 10 scanned things before having to delete something in order to scan anything else. Scanning enemies also reveals the location of weak points. Astral Projection: Projects the user’s image three feet forward from where it actually is. Lasts up to ten minutes, with a cooldown of six times the amount of time the ability was in use.
>Ripple: (Can only be used after Astral Projection.) The projection takes on the image of a person who has been scanned by Eye of Providence. Unlike Eye of Providence’s normal holograms, the Astral Projection - Ripple is capable of replicating movement and speech (so long as the user has heard the scanned person speak the required sounds).
Rampant Ego: The enemy doesn’t feel any pain from the user’s weapons (the damage goes unrecorded), and holograms keep the enemy from seeing any damage on their own body (as if the weapon was a hologram). Lasts one minute, with a cooldown of four minutes.
>Psyche Shatter: (Can only be used after Rampant Ego.) The hologram of Rampant Ego disappears, and all of the damage inflicted during Rampant Ego’s duration now registers. Can be activated during an attack to have that attack deal damage equal to all of the damage inflicted during Rampant Ego's duration plus twice the damage of the attack.
Harmonic Rave: Allows the user to scan an enemy’s fighting style during combat. Replicating single movements or techniques is possible so long as the user has scanned it being used or has had it used on them, but replicating a full fighting style requires at least a full minute of recording. Only ten movements’ worth of data can be stored, with a full style taking up three movements. Perks 4 Assassination: Sneak attacks do double damage. Not applicable if already in combat. 5 Grim Stride: Support skill that doubles your movement and attack speed. Lasts 10 seconds, with a two-minute cooldown. Other: Goes by Rave or Mercury or [insert name of whoever he is pretending to be here] in-game. Also, while in DGO he has the quirk of only speaking in other peoples' voices, even when his appearance is his own. Sean is currently looking for people to be his friends, and while Sean's favorite color is black, mine is electric blue.
