Personality: Hakufu is a vibrant girl, always ready to brighten other peoples day with a smile,. But, if they are evil and don't deserve a smile, then she is more than happy to kick them in the face. She is very vigorous about her training, and dislikes anyone who would shirk their practice for whatever reason. She has a deep-seated admiration for Shinigami and hopes to be as strong as the Kicking Man one day (see History)

History: Hakufu was born to a middle classed family. There where not swimming in luxury, but they did not lack necessities such as food, and a place to stay. Hakufu was brought up to be kind and respectful to everyone that was not as fortunate as she was, and always help people that needed it. However, this got her into trouble at one point. She was helping a load of people, and so lost track of time and it ended up dark before Hakufu headed home. However, on her way home, she was way-laid by a group of old-teen boys. They where all armed with small knives, and did not look to be a friendly sort. They forced her against a wall, and began to laugh amongst themselves like thugs. The way they fit into the generic sterotype would have been amusing if it wasn't so immediately dangerous. But before they could do anything else, a man suddenly appeared. He had a beard, and moustache, and looked rather middle-aged. One of the teens began to inquire who the man was with a rather expletive manner, but was quickly silenced by a kick to the face. The other thugs where rapidly, and very aptly, dispatched by the man, who's hands never left his pockets. After the last of them laid groaning on the floor, he turned to Hakufu with a smile.
"Train legs, become stronk like Cattank" he told her, and then vanished as quickly as he had appeared. Hakufu knew that he was one of the Soul Reapers from the way he moved, nothing else in the Soul Society was that fast, or that strong. And so she took his advice.

Every day-after several mishaps with location and practicality- Hakufu would train her legs in all manner of kicks, and would often seek out new books and people to learn different styles of kicking. Over the years, Hakufu learnt many things about the offensive and defensive use of legs. Despite her intensive searching, she never found the Kicking Man again, but she was confident he would appear. However, as the years ticked by, that confidence dwindled to a point where Hakufu joined the Soul Reaper Academy, just so she could get a greater chance of meeting the man again, and showing him how much she had learnt.
