Here we go again guys! Welcome, new student, to Aulani Academy. You like many before you have been awarded a place, & have been invited to join others like yourself within the halls of one of the most prestigious institutes of learning that has been built over the past millennium. You, like your fellow classmates, have now become part of one huge yet lively family; each & every student of this Academy understands how much the bonds between one another mean. Honesty, respect, solidarity; each of these is what this Academy has been built on, & it is up to every one of it's staff & students to carry on the legacy left behind & continue to help Aulani's reputation soar to the heavens & far beyond. As you are most likely aware of by now, Aulani Academy is not your regular Academy; while we do study such subjects such as English, Math, Geography, History & so forth, we also offer more advanced & specialized subjects to the students who are eligible to attend this world-wide valued Academy. The list of subjects available for students to take have been included with your acceptance package. During the settling in period of one week, students are to both select their subjects for the year and hand their subject forms into the administrative office so that the staff can process them as soon as possible. However you must remember the circumstances as to why you have found your way into this Academy in the first place. You are different from others around you; special, the best of the best. Deamon hunters, capable of performing feats far beyond any normal human walking this earth around you. You are capable of surpassing all & any who get in your way if you put in the time, effort & heart. But everyone who both attends & or has attended knows that with this power... Comes more rules & responsibilities, that we must all uphold to the best of our abilities. 1) While we try to encourage all students of the Academy to have fun & work together to make this world one that we all can share safely and peacefully, we cannot stress enough that you must know your limits! Know how much your body, mind & deamon(s) can handle, and never push yourself over the edge. Be aware of those around you, keep each other safe; this is what we are here for, to lend a hand & look after one another. If you feel, at any stage, as though someone might be taking things too far, do not be afraid to speak up about it; talk to them or a member of a staff about your concerns. Remember, it is better to be still & safe, than to run off & end up injured in the hospital wing. 2) Whether you are hunting on the grounds after the alarm rings or a third year (or higher) student completing a job that the staff have allowed you to take, you must always keep in mind that you are not only representing yourself, but also your Academy. Be sure to follow the rules of that country's government and never stray away from them, else you will need to face the consequences of your actions. Any damages caused will be covered by the Academy funds, however don't think you will be getting off that easy. All costs for any damages paid will be added to a students fees so that the family may pay the Academy back, just as you would with any loan; all payment details may be discussed with the Headmistress. Any discrepancies will be be dealt with the law enforcement of that particular country; any major discrepancies or rule breaking will result in immediate punishment via the Headmistress. Be aware, and stay mindful of your actions. 3) Your deamon(s) are your responsibility; they are your familiar(s) & are there to help you through jobs & life by being a faithful companion & partner. Be sure to take care of your deamon(s) & treat them with respect; remember a contract that has been created by two parties can also be broken. Each deamon is different and will need different things to keep them satisfied with continuing on with the contract the two of you share; keep this in mind as you go through life with your familiar. 4) It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't where in the world you came from. And it certainly doesn't matter what your background. Every student of this Academy is equal to the next. You are no better than the others around you, nor are they any better than you. You all bare the same mark and wish for respect; make sure you deliver to them what you wish them to deliver to you. Now that you are apart of something greater than anything you have ever experienced before, I want to wish you all the luck in this world that I can. Have fun & make friends, create memories that last a lifetime, and work your hardest with everything that you do. Take on jobs and form teams with strong bonds that can never be broken. Celebrate & enjoy the festivals & events put on for you through the hard work of your student council and Headmaster. Please be sure to read through all the information attached very carefully & always remember; we're a family, & no matter how messy things get, nothing will ever be able to rip us apart. Your Headmistress. Here is the link for all those interested in this roleplay: Aulani Academy - Restart
