lol yes, Dream ray was mean to be Dream Eater. Wake up slap is a good combo piece with hypnosis, however i felt it was flavorful too. Froslass is a civilized lady and no doubt would slap you if you did not show class, especially if you fall asleep during her performance. Also, Hyperbeam is amazing. one of my first pick moves since gen 1.

Now that you have explained exactly what you wanted this roleplay to be, I have to say i like it more. i was looking at it from a more competitive sense. I like your view on pokemon. i would be fine giving a tertiary or secondary type to some of the pokemon to make things more flavorful.
