The drunks didn't have any knowledge to impart to me, which was a shame. Still, I had to move on. If they wouldn't give me the knowledge I was looking for, I'd have to do the scouting myself. Well, Darvyn, time to get to work. I hefted Scaleslayer and walked out into the warm sunlight. As I looked around, I saw another Dragonslayer giving a lecture on what the villagers should do if the dragons decided to attack. I figured I could hand out a few pointers as well. "My name's Darvyn, and I'm a Dragonslayer as well. I just have a few things to add. Trapping the dragons is all well and good, but you still need to kill the bloody beasts. To do that, you need to stick it full of arrows. Swords and the like won't work unless they're either enchanted or so massive that only a Dragonslayer can wield them. Aim for the wings,, as arrows can't pierce the scales, the eyes are too small a target, and as for the mouth... let's just say that death comes out of a dragon's mouth, but it doesn't go in that way."
