It didn’t take long for all of the Guardians to gather in Daisuke’s kitchen. Before Cyril knew it, Sonya arrived with Fionn and Jak, and Naoto arrived with Prospero, Ben, and Abby. The group of boys and girls wandered around the kitchen table and he watched them with a solemn face. Now wasn’t the time to argue and bitch about them taking so long to get to the Lightning Guardian’s home. At least they were there, right? They would able to discuss how to get his aunt back from the demon that had taken her away. She would be back at her home, safe and sound, before he knew it. Cyril’s fingers curled inward, his hands beginning to form fists as he hoped that that would be the case. He was torn from his thoughts when a feminine voice piped up next to him, questioning if whether or not he was okay. His dark eyes flicked up to Abby. Why is she concerned about me? She should just sit down and listen to what Hajime has to say. Then again, Cyril wasn’t about to brush her off and tell her to mind her own business. He needed her help to get his aunt back. Then again, he needed everyone’s help. There was no way that he was going to be able to fight against the menace that threatened his aunt’s safety on his lonesome. Even though he was born and raised in the mafia, he had little to no experience in fighting, and often lost the battles he got himself into. The Storm Guardian candidate sighed before opening his mouth to answer Abby’s query, but he was interrupted by Sonya’s demands. His gaze drifted over to the red-haired woman, and then Hajime. He knows that we have to act quickly. Hajime’s an experienced member of the mafia. He can’t take this as a joke. While Cyril held his deadpanned expression rather nicely, he felt himself begin to tremble slightly. His mind was racing as he thought about all of the things that that bastard could be doing to Velia. She was always a delicate flower, more of a housewife than someone who could actually put up a fight. It wouldn’t be that hard to end her life. And Cyril knew that her captor was aware of that. One wrong move, and it’s over. Fionn wondered what was going on. He was suddenly taken to Daisuke’s house and told to listen to Hajime. The blond-haired boy knew that this wasn’t going to be a simple training session; they were going to Daisuke’s place for another reason. Once or twice, Fionn was tempted to ask Sonya what was happening, but he wasn’t sure if she would put up with such a stupid question, especially if she didn’t know the answer. However, he could tell that it was something serious. Sonya’s expression and tone of voice said it all. He swallowed roughly as he took a seat amongst the rest of the Guardians, his eyes flicking over the boys and girls who stared at Hajime with anticipation. Something’s really wrong. he told himself, leaning against the back of the seat as he waited for Hajime to speak.
