As his alarm clock went off, Jason only yawned and stared at the ceiling above his bed for another five minutes before finally dragging himself out of his bed. [i]Another day, another lesson in getting my ass kicked. This is getting old...[/i] Still, he wasn't mad at Angelo for it. In fact, Jason got better at the game with each and every lesson. After the last lesson, Angelo had even said that they'd be doing tag team battles soon if he got the next few lessons good enough. Standing up, he stretches and heads to the bathroom, making sure to be quiet so his grandparents could rest up as long as they needed. They were good people, kind, loving, everything he could want in parents, but it wasn't the same. [i]Right, remember what mom said.[/i] Of course, what his mother had said was easier said than done, something he discovered and hated more and more every day. Closing the bathroom door behind him, he gets into the shower and washes off before getting out and getting dressed in his uniform. He put on his blue tie and then wrapped his scarf around his neck. Jason never told anyone why he wore it, he didn't feel he had to. He had his reasons and that should be good enough. Heading downstairs, he grabs some toast and a cereal bar and heads out, climbing onto his skateboard and setting off. After a ten minute ride, he rode onto school grounds, still munching on a piece of toast. "Now then, where could the Guardian himself be..."
