Takeshi grinned at Shu, picking up the pace a bit to try and keep ahead of him. "School is a big word? Shu, you're going to be in for a shock if you think school is a big word," he commented, laughing, "And no, school is nothing like when you were rescued. You were taught some things, but school teaches you a lot more. If we get you into school you'll see what I mean." Though was school really for Shu? Considering what they did you didn't exactly need to be all that educated, albeit it couldn't hurt. Maybe then the little guy wouldn't have to ask what something was every ten minutes. The edge of the basin came up quick, so much so Takeshi barely had time to stop himself. Not that going over the edge would have been all bad for someone who could fly, but still. Skidding to a halt he looked down into the basin curiously, looking at the big settlement in particular. "I'm sure it's fine. It's not really scary, just cold..." This whole damn world was cold. It was odd seeing a place like this, Takeshi sort of figured the Narbu would be living in more advanced places. The Saiyan building they were in before, he figured, was the norm for them. Evidently not. Well considering they lived in huts chances were there wouldn't be ships for the rebels here, but manpower was still a possibility. Takeshi was fine and dandy to go, albeit he hadn't expected to be given lead. Usually Viral had such an issue with him taking charge with things and how he did it, but this time the Beastman actually told him to. "Hey, Shu beat him too you know! By that logic he could lead us," he quipped, smirking as he looked back at the path, "But if you insist, sure, I'll lead." Not that welcoming of a path admittedly, it was steep and didn't look to have very good footing. Stepping down cautiously on the first step he made sure he wasn't going to slip, slowly starting his way down. He'd only gotten down about half a dozen before Viral snapped at him, making Takeshi glance back annoyed. "If we're in such a hurry then I'll go faster!" he said, "And I'm not scared of falling! If you're so impatient then I'll hurry it up!" Now he was going at a regular pace, whatever to please Viral and make him not snap. In moving faster though he was much less careful with his footing, sliding slightly each step. It was only inevitable then that his foot would go out from under him, with Takeshi gasping in surprise as he lost his balance. Landing on his backside he slid down the steps some ways, bumping along as he did so. When he finally came to a stop it was because he slid into a wall, spread out like a starfish against the ice with an audible smack. It didn't hurt, landing like that. The clothes probably broke some of the impact, and the ice was surprisingly soft. Damn if it wasn't embarrassing though. Takeshi's face was a bright red at the moment, and it wasn't due to the cold. Lingering where he was for a few seconds he finally peeled himself off of the wall, his clothes making sucking noises as they separated from the cold surface. Glancing down at himself he brushed off any bits he could, turning and glancing back up at Viral. "Don't. Say. Anything," he warned, pointing a finger up at the Beastman indignantly. Releasing an annoyed sigh he started down the steps again, being both quicker and a bit more cautious. If he didn't do that ever again it would be too soon. Goodness knows Shu was probably having a blast with him acting like a moron.
