As a bit of interesting nit pick information, many animals do, in fact, have names and individual calls. The most documented species is dolphins who are assigned a certain frequency, but I'm betting my monthly salary that dogs do it too. My friends doggies call their individual friends by slightly different pitches. it's easy to tell once you've heard it.
