It's all good. I'm sure he'll be here soon, he was online yesterday. If he isn't back by next Wednesday we'll find a temporary GM to keep things going until he comes back, though I doubt it will get to that.

1) I know that ;)
2) This a VERY different time period, and while the Shia-Sunni divide seems universal across the ages, this time period in particular is quite untypical for its Pan-Islamism, especially considering the purely in-game Ottoman propaganda and the fact that Shias in the Caucuses chose to go Ottoman
3) If China and Japan can become friends, if France, Germany and Britain can become chums, then I'm sure Persia can send the Ottomans a letter of commiserations :P

Haha, Outcast can tell us, but between autocratic Orthodox Russia which is increasingly hostile and the Pan-Islamist democratic Ottomans, I have a feeling that we all know for whom the Azers voted.

In any case, to ease your worry, while Persia and Shias positively hated the OE in this period, Russia they hated more and would have congratulated the OE on 'liberating' the Caucuses from them. If you disagree with my conclusion I would be interested in hearing your thoughts ;)

And while am waiting for someone to post, I propose we put someone in place as interim-GM until Outcast returns.

I'd like to start by nominating MagnificentOne, for the reason that he's probably the only one among us that has WiR GMing experience.
