So Viral had speed and power to his name, interesting. Often times it seemed combatants had one or the other, rare was it that an opponent possessed multiple strong traits. All the more reason then the Chieftain was looking forward to this fight, it was a chance to really test himself and their supposed allies. Pivoting on his feet and blocking blows was all the Narbu could do initially, taking the chance to try and gauge his opponent's agility. The cold and snow didn't slow Viral down at all, it was impressive. Taking his own chance to deliver a blow the Chieftain lifted up a large paw, swiping down at Viral to try and knock him away. It came as a surprise when his blow was stopped, all he managed to do was drive back Viral a ways before both came to a halt. "Is that right? Prove it, Viral!" the Chieftain remarked, grinning excitably. Having his arm yanked down did manage to bring the Chieftain tumbling, and the hit to his legs brought him to his knees. He was anything but defenseless however, he had plenty of weapons to make due with. Growling in mock frustration the Narbu looked up at Viral, smiling as his tail whipped around from behind, trying to smack Viral in the back and knock him away. Takeshi felt a bit odd just standing here and watching, normally he was in the middle of the fray. This was boring, maybe he could pick a fight with one of the others to pass the time. Then again doing so might piss of the Chieftain, and who knows what could happen after that. Resolving then to simply standing and watch he shifted the weight of Viral's cleaver onto one shoulder, using his free hand to stifle a yawn. The two were going at it in earnest right off the bat, with Viral pounding away at his larger opponent with little trepidation. If this was the pace they were going at then it was going to be one hell of a ten minute duel. "I'll count, don't worry Shu," Takeshi answered, waving a hand dismissively before putting it on his hip. "Besides, I doubt either way this is going to take ten minutes. Both of these two can really fight, it's only going to take one single mistake for the other to win. And nothing bad is going to happen, we're here to make sure of that, yeah?" The Narbu weren't showing any desire to really cause them harm, maybe this sort of fighting was common for them. How often did the Chieftain do this, he wondered?
