Eli had a good pace going, but he wasn't in a particularly huge rush. He plodded along with his boots crunching the leaves beneath him, bow resting in one hand and a plum being eaten from the other. It only took him an hour to arrive at the meeting point. The walk had been rather nice. Peaceful was a good word to use. The sun was warm, but not too hot. The wind was blowing just right. Today was going to be a good day. He glanced down at his map to see that he would be coming upon the meeting place any moment now. Eli wondered if anyone else would be there. Would there be anyone here that he knew? He was pretty good with faces, but names were quickly forgotten. By now, he could at least recognize most of the rebellion members. When Eli came across the forest clearing, sure enough, there were other people there. At least he wasn't too late. He took a bite of his plum and looking around at the faces, all people he'd seen before. One man had his hands up in a defensive manner, probably because that girl had a gun. She didn't look like she was going to use it, however. When the two turned to look at him, Eli only smiled and waved dopily with his plum hand. "Plum?" He took one of the untouched fruits from his pocket and offered it up.
